Update 81.0.1 Release Notes

Here are the release notes for Update 81.0.1, released on Friday, July 24th, 2026.

News and Notes:

  • The end chest in the quest “Flocked Together” now properly displays its rewards following initial closure of the chest UI.

  • The drop locations of several items in Terror of Demogorgon have changed to ensure that named items are not dropping in more than one location.

  • Two named Terror of Demogorgon items that were not dropping now properly appear.

  • Landscape purple-named encounters now drop their correct Catalysts from their rare lists.

  • The bebelith rare encounter in the wilderness for Terror of Demogorgon now properly counts toward the rare quest.

  • Inspire Excellence now scales correctly.

  • The Terror of Demogorgon saga now drops Artifacts from Tower of Demogorgon instead of Masterminds of Sharn.

  • Abyssal Gems and Legendary Abyssal Gems now drop at their intended rates.

  • Legendary Abyssal Gems now say “Legendary” when in a stack.
