Note that to some people $20 is not alot of money. Also note that some people may have named a character and want to rename it for a good reason. I recently have come up with a theme that has a certain word in my name for all characters. This will allow me to edit the name if my high level characters so that all my friends recognize me no matter what character I play.
I was all excited about this new service until I read the notes.
At launch I created a character with the proper name.
However in naming his surname I wanted to show some heritage as i played Ac1 for years so I used the Surname "Of Solclaim" only to realize that i misspelled Solclaim....I was hope this would do the trick as i would pay the $20 to fix this!
only to discover you cant change Surnames....Aaarrrgg!

* Current XP kept (start out at Level 1 with Current XP, then visit Trainers as normal)
* Redistribute stats/skills/feats/spells option (upto level 1, then visit Trainers as normal)
* 1750 +2 Tome choice provided (assuming you have reached 1750, item placed in inventory)
* If 28 Pointer Build, you get the choice to rebuild to 32 pointer (assuming you have reached 1750)
** All other "non-favour" Tomes used previously are lost and unrecoverable. This means us Players will have to restock/prestock on Tomes.
** Current Bound "loot" items NOT kept (yea, if you have 40+ Bound loot items, they should not come with you on a FULL "reset" respec).
** Current Equipment/Bank and Money are LOST if not cleared/removed from Character before Full Respec (This is because at Level 1, you only have 3 Inventory and 1 Bank slots - Yes, this means Players will have to restock or prestock on Collapsed Portable holes).
** Current "repeatly repeated" Dungeons -% XP Debt are kept (no double dipping on XP from previously sack XP dungeons!)
Yeah I'd pay $20 for this Full respec (be willing to pay even $30! max).
I would also pay for Character (Gear and Money too) Server relocation - I'm not sure if this will create problems with Plat Sellers with Inter-Server Item/Money relocations (but Plat Sellers will have to pay $20 each time they do this with a "paying" account and not trial accounts that Plat Sellers use).
It's a big ask, but this IS a Premium Service!

I'd pay money for the GMs to actually investigate lost items via the in game mail system instead of giving us a canned response.
GM's who do the following:
Help players with bugs.
Failing that, explain clearly and precisely why they can't help.
Having GM's say that they can't help with a bug and then say "it is not our policy to tell players our policy" is not only absurd but insulting.
Just wondering.. this feature seems to be missing from the premium services.. Is this an error.. ? or how does one go about requesting a server transfer ..
Well not to answer my own question, but after searching around a LOT.. heres the answer.. The menu on the main www.ddo.com site, tool bar menu called "support" has an underlying menu with a link to the premium services that leads to here
where world transfers are not listed...
However the message in the fourms under "news announcements" by Yeti called "return of the premium services" contains a link to here
that contains the application for world transfer..
I thought I would let you know to save you searching for char xfers.. as well to point it out so it could be added to the main ddo.com menu system.

hello ! since i was reincarnated , i´m bugged . i can not play raid quests and i can not explore and slay in any wilderness ! lots of xp that i not get ! without the raids , i´m not able to loot special weappons and the packs (sands , reavers revuge , shroud) was very expensive ! i buyed them all with my credit card !
no xp , and no loot ! why i spend lots of money in this character and now i can do only 50% of the whole game ? and i am from Austria , i speak german and it´s so , so hard to find support here ! maybe there is anyone outside and can help me !

I paid for a transfer and now i am wondering if i can change the character i am transfering. could i move a different one or am i stuck with the one i put down?
sorry, spent about an hour looking for info and cant seem to find it. i am very new just downloaded and played yesterday for first time. i saw what i thought was a deal for 14.99 for access to drow, 500 coins thingies, and adventure packs guild charter, extra character slots, some other stuff.
i seem to have gotten some of the stuff not all, i have warforged but not drow, i had like 50 coins yesterday thinking i would have 550 today after paying but only have 75. was wondering if i read something wrong or if i am one of the new users that is currently "bugged".
again am sorry about beating a dead horse, i just really wanted to get a drow started and i couldnt find the thingy to send a report in game (which i thought i was able to do, if i can sorry, havent found it yet). if this is the wrong place could an admin please move this to an appropriate spot. thank you for your time.
Last name (surname) changes please. I'd pay. Good money too. I like this toon, I've TR'ed him and plan on doing so again. Either just let me delete the surname or change it. I made a mistake and didn't have it pointed out to me until I was high enough I didn't want to re-roll.

something I would like to see in the DDO store is "A Cookie Jar" I would pay any point price you wanted to set for it something to put all the jester items into I don't care if I have to take the item out to use it just something that could store them all as they take up over 1 page of space to cary them all
I just made this mistake, as a returning player from years ago. I'm a 'Premium' status player as such:
'Premium' races and classes are: Warforged and Monk...
Turbine needs to change their wording, this is their mistake. Call it Purchasable/VIP races, not 'premium'.
Or call premium accounts something else, like 'Distinguished'.
It's a trap and now I can't use one my 4 reclaimed characters.

I am a loyal VIP player, and have had more than one VIP account. I have been playing D&D since it was a box set (before the pen and paper) and I love the game probably more than any other I've ever played. And I am so angry at the greed of the people running this game that I'm almost ready to quit altogether.
The DDO Store is overpriced by a factor of ten. If you dropped every price in that store by a decimal place, I would spend three times the money I do now in there because I would make impulse purchases like gold seal hirelings and siberys spirit cakes just to avoid the annoyance of restarting a quest. Right now, the prices stop me every time. I have to save those points for buying the things my main toon (and only my main...can't afford more than that) really needs like bigger bags and quivers. And don't even get me started on the price of armor kits. I get angry every time I look, so I don't even look at them anymore.
But what has me on the verge of quitting is this latest update presale. I've been a loyal paying customer for years, and now you're selling options I can't get unless I fork over EVEN MORE dough...to get the premium features, it's not enough to be VIP anymore. Now I have to be VIP AND buy the new adventure packs. It's insulting. I'll consider whether or not to quit over it, but I definitely think you need to rethink the idea of plugging VIPs for double money.
dear turbine, i was just scammed by someone misrepresenting themselves as an alt of Irprettyful, a toon named Irprettycool. I gave them over 60 epic scrolls 2 dozen assorted small and medium ebberon shards and 3 large devil sclaes. This is probably the same person wwho has been harassing pretty before, rolling toons named Irprettyfat etc... I cannot believe that you can not make this right, i have been a VIP player for 3 years, and my reputation as a fair and honest player speaks for itself. I cannot believe that turbine does not place more value in its customers and is unable to fix situations like this. This incident and an inability on your part to make it right smear your company's reputation and sour players towards you. Yes i know its my fault for making the trade, but they were mirepresenting themselves as a bank toon of a friend who i have been playing this game with for 3 years.
Your inablilty to correct such an egregious violation of the EULA is making not only myself, but friends and guildies re-evalute our desire to keep paying to play this game. We feel like we are not valued as customers or a community.
As a company if you dont take care of your regulars then you will soon have none.
Please reconsider this and make it right, make us proud of you turbine,
I do understand the need to make VIP an attractive option for players, but expanding on your Premium players benefits is not a bad idea. I know I've invested a lot of money in this game, so getting some sort of recognition or benefit for my investment would be nice. Perhaps some sort of tiered series of bonuses based on how much of the game you've picked up and/or how much you've spent in the store that could eventually earn you near-VIP access.
Another idea would be to grant premium members a free gold roll every other week, or at worst, once a month.
