& for my tr partner too... when she first went into the quest, it drew her like a magnet. All I had throughout that quest was, "Z, I want this horse!"..
(but I agree with another poster, in doing it like a nightmare version too![]()

Orien: Level 400 Cannith Crafter
(*) - Crafter Advert for Orien
Guild Leader, Old Curiosity Shop
"The 'forever' rogue"
This epitomized the fail of feywild.
The ugliest unicorns in the world (at least one of them) for the higher priced bundles, when they CLEARLY had designed a much cooler horse in the pack.
Every single person I've played with in that quest has wanted that horse.
SSG, make more money from us!
And of course, they'll give it away in a free give away or something.
It's probably going to be an elite+ drop in Feywild's raid, it would be a massive missed opportunity for SSG to make these art assets and then not use them.
Like they had that cube pet that dropped in FOT.
I feel like mounts&pets in Elite+ would be a great cosmetic incentive for keeping raids relevant longer.

Adding it to Reaper cosmetics, sure whatever, that's already a thing in game
Making it specifically exclusive to high-Reaper so you can "show off" is adding in a new layer of e-peenery.
Doing high skulls doesnt need any extra reward. The reward should just be knowing you can do high skulls.
Except, in the current state of the game, doing R1 isn't a challenge, even for a group of first-lifers. I am far from being a vet, pretty sure I would be considered very much so a noob by skill level, and having something concrete to chase is a huge motivator. Currently, the game lacks that in any real capacity, as all things, cosmetic or otherwise, can be obtained fairly easily on the lowest "endgame" difficulty. In fact, there is currently no reason for any sane person to venture into higher reaper raids, other than just S&G. I personally would love it, as even though I cannot do high skull reaper quests, it would give me something more concrete to work towards, which is the kind of thing that keeps long form games like this alive.

While that clearly was the initial goal, actual play speaks otherwise, and you know it.
While many would love for the overall power-creep to be reduced, and reaper to actually be the challenge-enthusiast game mode, the fact of the matter is that right now, Reaper difficulty is the baseline for endgame in DDO, and I don't think that is a controversial statement. Whether is should be or not is, sadly, irrelevant, and is a completely separate discussion.
a horse trading and collecting system might generate more users and give some use for all of them feathers in my storage. 100 regular horses for a pink unicorn?
Hmm could it be the next HCL 5000 favor reward?
Darkwinn, Milkus, Terismina, Gothmawg, Dreylock, Drunarah, Bigbhamboo, etc on Sarlona / Brixlynn, Mofus, Curgoth, Deidlit, etc on Ghalanda.
Can I have this mount instead?

"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"
