    Default Augments way off.

So, I decided to organize my augments across all my toons today. Of course I noticed that many of them are not matching their actual values. I have screenshots if needed. I actually posted in the bug forums a few weeks ago when my festive augments had their value change. I know SSG is aware of all of this. I only have one question. Is this going to be fixed any time soon? By all means, work on the lag first please. But I was wondering if there was an ETA on the Augments being fixed?

I agree, I have 2 of the same augment says +9 but they are actually +3 and +6
the upgrade of the augment system an changing of augment values failed to change the actual top level description ,
only changed the detailed description which is correct for the new augment system.

Iirc(!), there was something about needing to take them out of banks and putting them into Inventory (and then logging out/back in?). If you're only mouse-hovering over items gathering dust in your bank, they may not yet have been updated properly.

Thanks to you both. I'll check it out.

    Default Are Augments not working?

    Are augments working?
I have tried to slot one of the Snowy Peaks Augments and it will not open up.

Are you trying the old out-dated nonfunctional way by double-clicking the augment, or the new improved way by clicking the little box at the bottom right of your inventory window?

Drag the unlocked item to be augmented to the empty position on the popup-window, this will display filled and empty augment slots on the item. Drag an appropriate augment onto an empty slot of an appropriate color and it will lock into place, applying the effect of that augment to the item. Close the popup-window when you have finished augmenting the item.

You can also drag the locked item to the Augment Item button and it will open up the augment window for that item, so you can keep it locked.

Same when you want to feed your locked sentient item some munchies, the Sentient Item button is just below it. A lot easier and more secure way than the above method IMO.

    Just FYI.

Just to add - if the item youre trying to add the augment to already has an augment in place then the new system may report it as having no augment slots. That being the case you will need to use one of the legacy augment removers to remove the old augment, at which point both the old augment and item will be updated to the new system and will as described above. You can get the legacy removers from various vendors for gold, but only work on items that haven't been updated to the new system.

Just wanted to touch back on this. What C-Dog said worked. All the augments match their descriptions now. Unfortunately, my 2 Festive Wisdom augments from a few years ago have changed to +5 insightful wisdom (still), which is what my other post had been about. So that's not fixed. Everything else appears to be in working order. Thanks folks.

Thank you, I have been busier than usual as of late coupled with a massive computer failure I have somehow missed that info.

    Thank you!

Added the bold. The title description for many augments is grossly incorrect and showing old pre-patch titles. The detailed text seems to be correct.

BTW, as a sort of "while you're at it" change, I would dearly love to see the ML for augments on mouse-over. Assuming the title is correct, the text detail doesn't need to go on to repeat all the information that is covered in the title and by the color of the item itself in the detail text for every single augment in the game. Giving an appropriate error message when dragged onto the wrong color is sufficient for newbies.

ALWAYS showing ML would be nice, though. It's the only reason I ever mouse over an augment and the text DOESN'T SHOW THE ML >< (at least not until after you take it out of the bank or bag and put it in inventory). It's tedious and annoying, especially for augments that don't follow the "standard" augment MLs -- like the named augments and the festives.

    1 more point to add.
Equipment changes level with the augment if the augment level is higher then the equipment level.
Equipment is not showing the change in level.
You think its level 16 when the augment was a level 20 and still cant use the equipment until level 20,
it doesn't say this anywhere in the new item description after changing or adding the higher level augment.
