Default Slight omission with the new Fest

This is likely an easy fix.
Your Fest info page does not say WHERE to go
    to complete Fest activities.
    Is it an instanced area?
Do we need to talk to an NPC
Is is in Harbor or ...what?

    PEACE

from the festival guide “Did we mention that there are also monsters who want to kill you? Oh. Ok, well, there's that. A new Champion type, Scourge of the Snowpeaks, has arrived, and if you slay these Champions, a chest will appear that will reward you with Bronze, Silver, or Gold Snowpeaks Coins. Turn these coins in to Flurry in the Hall of Heroes for great rewards! Coins can also sometimes be discovered in chests throughout the game.

Where do you use the keys, though? To unlock the Club Penguin mini-game?

Also from the guide (emphasis mine):

"Every time you defeat a Scourge of the Snowpeaks there is also a rare chance that the chest will contain a Frozen Key, which you can turn in to Flurry for access to the Snowpeaks themself!"

Think it says somewhere that the keys can be used in the hall of heroes to access the event area.

maybe I need to be more specific.

Is it like the Halloween event where you kill stuff in a graveyard area?
    or
    Is it any Dungeon?
or is it on a separate map that we need to talk to an NPC to reach?

    WHERE ? exactly

I know there will be monsters there, that does not answer the question
I know there will be chests, still does not answer the question
I know there will be an NPC 'somewhere, maybe hall of heros' for coin turn in, STILL does not answer the question.

Where do you go to do this?

ok, that should be clear enough

I suspect, based on a previous "oops" where the event champs populated briefly, it's any dungeon. (They were spotted in some ES quests within the first hour or so of a prior update).
Then, from what I understand reading the brief, we'd go to the Hall of Heroes, talk to Flurry and they will offer trades for drops and in exchange for a key, send us to the new event location.

But it will very likely make sense, whatever the MO, once we go talk to that NPC when the update is complete.
We waited weeks, what are a few more hours?

I hope I caught the direction of your question.
I'm starting to get jaded about this whole process- OP release, backend nerf- it's the proverbial mule and the carrot and I end up feeling like an ***.

If only champion spawn them then Korthos is worthless

If your a F2P player your out of luck as well
since champions do not spawn in normal level dungeons.
You will be required to grind the dungeons over again.

So >>> IF <<< it is only Champions in dungeons ... I will call it
early as a REALLY bad choice. I would ask that they
change it to something that ALL players can enjoy.

This -Reapers is the norm- is a really bad choice when you basically
have to have a subscription to directly access it without having to grind a dungeon 3 times
    to get it.

Punishment for not paying for a subscription.

    yup, basically a cash grab

The keys are rare (no doubt) so the SELL them in the store.

    ........................
If when I run into a champ and get a coin...fine
but don't expect me to get excited about this 'event'.
    It is already - underwhelming.

so you are saying they make events to get players to hunt monsters to play them, collect items and claim rewards so they can make money out of it? how shrewd

Or get a buddy with access to the higher levels of the dungeon and run with them.
    Or watch for groups/LFMs.
Or create your own LFM with the message of "Looking for openers".

Established toons with more than 2 past lives get into the elite level free anyway. As paywalls go, this is a curb.

Not to mention, if you're playing the game *at all* - aren't you / haven't you been doing this already?

There is some insufferable forum posting recently - vote with your wallet! If you don't like paying for the game, don't. Oh, you already aren't.

Smh. Some of the complaints from people that play for free are mind boggling.

    Default Truly astonishing

I’m not sure what part of “where” people are having a difficult time understanding. If someone asks “Where is the store?” the correct response isn’t “They have great deals at that store!” (even if they actually do have great deals at that store). I think people are getting confused between statements that are accurate, and statements that answer the question. For example, I’m wearing red slippers. Even though that’s true, it doesn’t help OP locate the festival. Perhaps some additional examples will help:

    Question
Where is the Mabar Endless Night Festival located?

    Incorrect response
Ghostbane rubies help you kill ghosts.

    Correct response
House J, near the entrance to Delera’s Graveyard.

    ———

    Question
Where is the Anniversary Party located?

    Incorrect response
I liked last year’s loot better.

    Correct response
House P, near the entrance to Partycrashers.

    ———

    Question
    Where is Crystal Cove located?

    Incorrect response
My cat’s breath smells like cat food.

    Correct response
In the north end of the harbour, look for Sailor Calatin. He will transport you there.

    ———

What’s important to understand is, in addition to being true, the correct responses explain where the events are located. Regarding OPs question:

Where is the Snowpeaks Festival located?
This is just a guess from what I read on the wiki. When you kill a Scourge of the Snowpeaks champion (this is a new champion added specifically for this event), there is a chance it will drop a chest with a frozen key in it. Take that key to Flurry, located in the Hall of Heroes. He will transport you to the event.
