Mirroring the current season is better.

They should match the seasons of Eberron, not the seasons out of game!

Yes, we should have four distinct seasons in-game to match the real (temperate zone) world.

I... kinda don't care? Stormreach is supposed to be tropical, so seasons shouldn't even be there. As for changes brought by planar influence, as long as it's explained it's ok.

I would like it if the various home world zones (and wildernesses, where appropriate) had dates of the year visible when in that zone.

The year does not need to be time-concurrent with the real world. It can run much faster (3 days to 1?) but I'd like to feel the passing of the year as I play.

Eberron and Forgotten Realms could be on "opposite" points in the calendar.

I do not feel that the in-game season should match mine, especially with a game played by people living at most latitudes.

Depends what else is going in the dish... oh, seasons, not seasonings? Eh, whatever, it's all good. Although I feel sorry for the characters in skimpy outfits in Eveningstar right now...

I do not have a preference. Sometimes, it is nice to play in a region with cold weather during a hot summer in real-life and vice versa.

I like the seasonal events the way it is. It's impossible to make them match the real-life seasons, for there are so many players from all over the world in different time zones. It'll be a truck load of work to make a client for each region in the globe :P

I like them to match. It feels better and is less confusing.

I like them to match yes. But they don't have to necessarily to still make the game-world feel more immersive. If the game-world had a consistent cycle of seasons it would be more captivating and engaging in the game environment.
