So I've one shot the gargoyle twice now while heroic loot farming.
Each time, as long as I played the fiddle over it's corpse, the objective completed successfully. Probably need more testing to make sure I wasn't just lucky, but it may not be quite as broken, as long as you know what you have to do ahead of time. (Still needs some sort of fix for the people that don't know.)

I have been stuck in the prison area for over two hours now. I can't find any ladders, climbable vines, odd looking floors. I don't have a fiddle. I have drawn my own maps since that's not something the game is able to do. This quest is looking like hot garbage to me.

There are 3 levels to the prison. The cell where the prisoners are kept is marked by the roman numeral I that can be seen on the floor in some places. Look for an arched doorway with a I on the floor and II above the doorway to get to level 2. Level II has a similar doorway with a II on the floor and a III above the doorway. Level 3 is the way out.

I went to level 3 maybe 30 or 40 times. There is only a door that can't be interacted with up there. It is closed. The lever next to it can't be pulled. Is there anything else interesting up there?

I recalled after 2 or 3 hours and reset it. I'll start with this music side and see how it goes.

Yep. My first instance was bugged. There was no way out of the prison. For the record I took the wine bottle first, found the note, somehow ended up in the prison and that was all she wrote. There was no escaping. So don't do that I guess.

Never had a quest take 4 hours before. Money well spent I say.

I think there is a bug.

If you are coming from the "prisoner dungeon" and coming from there,
face the door to the "banquet hall" (the door you went through for going into the prisoner dungeon),
and then use that lever of the banquet hall door
while standing *not* in the banquet hall, but in the tunnel of the prisoner dungeon,
then the door leading back into the banquet hall closes, the lever becomes unuseable, and a DM speaks some words about a "detour".

My assumption is now that this is the only way out of that prisoner dungein, but because the lever becomes unuseable, you're stuck.

There *might* be another possibility, but I haven't seen it yet : There are a few useable levers within the prisoner dungeon ... It sounds to be almost as if they were opening a door, which shuts down after several seconds again.
Or, by the sound of it, these levers might also go back into a standard position after several seconds.

Anyway, my character seems to be stuck now, as I just cannot find any way out there anymore, with the door to the banquet hall being shut and its lever being unuseable.
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"

I find the first time running a quest (I always run them solo first time) a lot of fun PRECISELY when figuring out things like this.

So far, I'm really enjoying all the quests, first time through, because of all the little hidden stuff like that.

Sure, next time, in a group, zerging, we'll all just run straight to the vines.

Sorry you don't get any joy from the first time exploration of a new quest.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

Is the curious door optional also bugged? I got through the door and spoke to the unicorn, but now I can't get out of the amphitheater. I've tried playing the fiddle just about everywhere, but still stuck in there.
