    Default U47 Preview 2: Named Loot

    Update 47 is expected to contain the following new named loot items located in the quest The Promise of Flame as well as new legendary raid loot. During this preview you can easily access all of this loot via "The Loot Guy" NPC located in the center of the Test Dojo.

    Extremely disappointed that there's still no Light Mace.

    Maybe the devs didn't see the suggestion in the first preview (not mine) but maybe Conqueror of Bone could be changed from Great Club to Light Mace. I'd actually be surprised if more people used Great Clubs than Light Maces. Though I'll admit not many players use either.

    Default Lamplighter Morningstar Wisdom to hit and damage?

    Lamplighter Morningstar

    Can you make this wisdom to hit and damage so that an Aasimar Scourge Morningstar/Mace wisdom build is possible without 12 racial AP?

    Right now you level such a build with Scepter of Healing (level 10) to Forgotten Light (heroic level 16-18) to Forgotten Light Epic (level 23-25) and then there is no end game weapon for such a build.

    Would be 41 tempest 21 DWS 18 Scourge for AP then.

    Change the set bonus's from Artifact to Profane, even if it means decreasing the bonus they give. This way they'll at least stack and not be so much as a net negative for builds.

    Does this weapon just exist to be a cool cosmetic? Or like is there a point in having a 40d6 proc that happens <5% of the time (and thus averages <2d6) - at least make it on-vorpal for FotW builds? Greatclubs are already in a terrible spot. If it had a x4 crit multiplier it'd still almost certainly be too weak to ever use, so why gimp it with weak weapon procs as well?

    Default Melee Sets vs Legendary Part of the Family

    The only way giving up Part of the Family would even be an option, would be if we could stack 2 of the new raid sets together, and even then it's probably still not as good as Part of the Family.

    Ideally you'd go Legacy of Tharne and Tyrannical Tinkerer, except they both use goggle slots, so the best combo the raid sets could even offer isn't even an option.

    So with Tharne/Tinkerer off the table, the next option would be Tinkerer/Suulomades. Those are Gloves/Goggles/Bracers/Trinket. The net results from switching from Legendary Part of the Family to Tinkerer/Suulomades are below:

    Doublestrike -5%
    Melee Power -10
    Helpless Damage -5%
    Fortification Bypass +15%
    Sneak Attack +3d6
    PRR/MRR +20


    This set up is half way decent. However that is a TON of raid gear, it takes up 4 gear slots (as opposed to 3 from Part of the Family) and the kicker is you have to give up your minor artifact to use the Heart of Suulomades. All of that together is just too much of an ask in my opinion. Go get 4 brand new raid items and be arguably worse off (from a DPS stand point) than 3 quest items from several updates ago. Yes it does have some net positives, but it takes up an entire extra gear slot, which pretty much negates those 3 positives as you'd get an extra piece of gear with 4 effects on it if you stuck with Part of the Family.
