    This is also for me.

90% of time fighting them is spent waiting for them to appear.

Phase spiders and Quori stalkers like to appear and just dissapear half a second later (kinda hard to hit them on high latency due to that)

Yeah Beholders for me...my magic-buff-based chars get neutered, my physical-melee-based chars get CCed before I can do anything. They have way too many tools in their toolbox, everyone's weak against something.

Dog packs and other chain-CC mobs, but that's more just BS mechanics than actually challenging mob design.

Oh, and enemy Arti mobs - how come their daze doesnt break on hit like player dazes do? Its like an 18 second stun, and then they layer it with Command so you're perma-locked.

Yep me too, Phase spiders more than most, appear behind you, one attack and then disappear. Gets infuriating/ feels like cheese.

Oh, and those idiots in "best laid plans" that do the knock down aoe spam lock.

    Any mob that dispels magic.

Spend 150sp on buffs, mob waves hand *poof* gone. Do again, next mob waves hand *poof* gone....5 minutes later *poof* all the fun you might have had GONE and replaced with teeth grinding rage.

Double mention for anything with dispel magic and energy drain. They win the uber champion of cheese festival in cheeseville, cheeseland.

Monsters only show up in your MM if you kill them, so the lack of a Lag Monster in your MM could be proof that you have lost every encounter.

Beholders on non-ranged characters. Ballistas on EE.

Well on my 4th or 5th Warlock life now, I'd have to say iron golems which are healed by fire.

On every other non-warlock build, except paladin/warforged/bladeforged, beholders.
My take on "the grind": https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6220972

Ordinary humans have inhibitions that serve as a buffer against what we know is bad behavior.
However, some people, by blaming others for their own bad behavior, develop a thought pattern that allows them to override self-control in order to achieve a selfish end.
    - My opinion on exploiters and cheaters blaming SSG for unfair punishment.

    Mephits. All of 'em.

They're neutral, so none of the good alignment stuff works on them.

They spam status effects and magic missiles.

So yes, Mimics as well for me.

Flameskulls! I hate 'em. They flit around and dodge like Will o' the Wisps and so are hard to hit, both with spells and weapons! They come in packs, so while you are battling 1 the others are attacking you! They are immune to cold, despite being flaming beings! Grrr! They really make me want to cuss!

It's time to double down with the most annoying mob mechanic in the game! DDO needs a raid boss with accompanying trash that phases like specters, and also burrows like a scorpion. C'mon Flimsy, make it so!

Each trash mob needs to cast a Stradh's Grip which can only be removed by killing them before the timer is up as well, then spawn a 10 shadow lag bomb if they score a kill.

    On Hardcore - Beholders.
On every other server - Beholders.

In real life - adult responsibilities... and Beholders.

    Anything with a trip/knockdown effect.

Anything that can spam that effect.

Currently its the Technicians in Sharn who seem to be able to cast Tactical Detonation WAAY more often than is fair or balanced.

The truly annoying aspect of technicians is their ability to cast TacDet through the floor. Best Laid Plains is a terrible questing experience because of this "feature".

    Default Animals

Any animals with knock down ability. They seem to knock you down bite/eat you and when you try to get up knock you down again. It just has that I am being eaten alive feel to it.

shadar kai - chain attack slowing my character is sooooo annoying
rusties and oozes - the lack of many good everbright weapons in DDO really makes them annoying to deal with on a melee. On my caster they aren't a big deal though.
bats - so hard to hit as others mentioned
