Default Thank you for allowing us to put gems into shared bank crafting storage

    Hello,

the day before yesterday (or, so to say, yesteryesterday ) I had found out by chance that gems can now be put from the Gems Bag into the Crafting Storage of the Shared Bank.

I had thought that this was impossible, so I was quite surprised as I found that out.
I assume that this is WAI ( I do hope so ! ), and this is a pleasant surprise to me.

As a guild member put it : "That's a good way to distribute wealth among characters."
On the other hand, it reduces the reason to have a shared Platinum deposit there, if one has enough crafting space.

The only gems apparingly not affected by this are special gems ( I personally call them "named gems" ) like Seventusk's Gem, or Thadardix's Gem.

Hasn't it been that way for years already? Maybe even since it first existed?

Cookies, on the other hand, still didn't go in the last time I checked.

Yes it has. I only did it by accident once when dumping ingredients and then had to take them all out to sell.

Huh. Y'all know how large the stacks get? Could be fun to stack up a bunch of plat that way when you're near cap

Indeed, because those are actually trinkets
That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

Feature wishlist: colour-coded HP bars; red/blue teams in raids; rez-timer in party menu; equip-able halflings

Well, the Wiki does not list these Gems as being placeable into that bank part (I mean the regular Gems, not the Gem-named trinkets).

Gems (normal) have indeed been going into Craft Storage for years. I've been saving them up for ages hoping they'll serve a purpose some day, and just to, you know, collect em.

Related note = arrows and bolts go in there too. I also 'collect' Slayer bolts and have amassed thousands of them.

Sun flasks and coal also go into the shared crafting bank. I have at least a page of sun flasks in there now.

It has been this way since day 1.

The Wiki is a great source of information, but in no way "all-knowing".
