Default Top hardcore league ii deaths

One of my guildies has been tallying up the deaths

    1. Traps - traps kill more than anything else, for every 4 death 3 are traps. Be careful around traps! lol.

    2. Reapers - Famine show up the most - they are the casters who spam magic missles. Plague next, then Carnage, though Fear are no joke either. We haven't seen any of the other reapers - guess no one is doing high skull on HCLII lol

    3. Kobold Shaman - these little kobolds are armed with lightning and they still hate us. They've killed so many people, bring resist pots and be sure to move, jump, and try to evade those lightning bolts.

    4. Queen Hera - she is the optional Medusa in Total Chaos - you do not need to release her from her cell, but people have been and she has been slaying people all over the server. Usually, we do not fight Medusa until we are around LVL 12 so tangling with one at lvl 2 is risky business.

Many other things are killing people: wolves, lava, lag, but at least you can be prepared when you deal with these top murderers of HCLII!

I use the queen all the time, there is just a trick to it.
    release her
    have her help you
when the priest runs away...do NOT chase
    Let her kill him
pick up loot from your chest, AND LEAVE (use leave button)

DO NOT GO TO TALK TO HER,
it is optional and not required
    Leave her to her cave.

    done deal.

Concubines in Borderlands seem to be killing many people which has me baffled.

I see this one quite a bit too. Maybe it's death by snu snu? **shudder**
Per Cocomajobo - Ranged has easy access to AOE - apparently 3 feats, BAB 11 and Dex 19 is considered easy access these days. post here

I have seen a lot of falling deaths at least 50 and I have not always been paying attention to them.
I would say it seems about 1 per 5-10 deaths

Is also kinduv amusing. Death by Concubine, kinda like death by Malicia... worth it?

Have seen a few "...died to lowered hit points...", including a level 9. That had to suck.

    ---------

One of the MOST amusing (sorry if you're here reading, but I won't name you) was a guildie who asked where the guild buff node was, then popped up in a death notice. In moving to the node, he had accidentally hit auto-run and run off the side of the ship. Wasn't lucky enough to land in water.

Kobold concubines do not hate you. They love you... a little too much.

This one got me, I got stuck in behind the shrine in Violent Delights and when I tried to jump out from behind I suffered the falling death bug even though I was wearing a feather fall item. (Meanwhile in the back of my mind I was thinking, just type /stuck and be done with it.)

The other time I entered Treasure Hunt and decided to try my luck on Reaper 1, 4th level toon with 100 HP. Entered the quest, and upon the summoning of my 1st level hire, a Fear or Famine Reaper appeared out of nowhere and hit me with a 137 point Niac's.
No time to react, no nothing. Just fade to black and the realization I had just been pawned.
After a little Tolkien I am usually up for anything.

Be careful - other things can trigger her to come after you.

I brought her with me into the “pick up the cursed tableware” optional and she went agro on me while we were fighting the dretches. That was one of those *** deaths.

Now, after I release her, I bring her directly to her sit-and-hold site and let her be.
