Default How far would you let your character fall without equipping a Feather Fall item?

Depends on a lot of things. What level/class they are, where they should land, etc. Right now neither of the 2 toons I run the most use a feather fall item. One is a monk with slow fall, the other is a warlock with feather fall (that I cast often to give temp HP).

I wouldn't even let them fall asleep without one.

I would fall right off that Demonweb without a feather fall item! Some days I get so lost and confused that I would just jump off and loose myself in one of the 666th layers of the Abyss!

If I weren't in a hurry, a couple of feet, maybe?

Fall while swiimming. In other words, dive.

I like to play chicken with the ground and see how close I can get before using a Feather Fall item. The ground tends to win.

    To infinity, minus 1 foot.
My take on "the grind": https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6220972

Ordinary humans have inhibitions that serve as a buffer against what we know is bad behavior.
However, some people, by blaming others for their own bad behavior, develop a thought pattern that allows them to override self-control in order to achieve a selfish end.
    - My opinion on exploiters and cheaters blaming SSG for unfair punishment.

Pfft, Feather Fall is for weaklings. It's just a bump. Walk it off.

Well, unless I need it to get at the loot. Then Feather Fall all the way. It's not flying, it's falling with style!

I'mma be honest, I would let them fall for days if it meant free DDO points.

I've fallen pretty far before when getting the 'Oops' when teleporting before actually equipping a feather fall item. I mean.. usually I just re-teleport, but I know there was at least once I didn't.
