    Default Inquisitive gear layout Post U43 (Rogue heavy lvls)

    Listing my best shot at covering key bases with gear, mostly to refer back to when crafting slavers and sharn items all at once. I welcome all suggestions, comparison, criticisms and other comments as many of you are MUCH better at seeing the full picture. Currently running as 15/4/1 Rogue/Arti/Fght this may change as the toon progresses. Hoping for Nemesis loot at some point but frankly have only done the raid one time so far, may be a while.

    Head: Legendary Wallwatch circlet
    Neck: Legendary Family Recruit Sigil
    Trinket: Slavers > Sheltering > Resistance 14? > Spot 22? > Quality Int?
    Goggles: Legendary Collective Sight > Int 21 > Insightful Int
    Cloak: Cloak of Balance > Quality Con
    Armor: Legendary Wildwood Vest
    Bracers: Legendary Hallowed Castigators (attempt to improve cocoon self healing, is weak atm but Wildwood bracers targeted)
    Ring 1: Celestial Sapphire Ring > Con 21? (All stat choices already covered by other items but con 21 frees up a belt slot)
    Ring 2: Leg Sigil of Triumvirate
    Belt: Legendary Bronze Dragonscale Belt (this currently has my Con 21 could change this to cannith item)
    Gloves: Legendary Wildwood Gauntlets (for set bonus if raid bracer acquired could put House Jorasco gloves for self healing?)
    Boots: Legendary Spectre Boots (I like the seeker/ins seeker and ghostly from cloak and boots)
    Runearm: Tiras Splendor (swap as needed but like the 40 stacking Hamp for now)
    Quiver: Epic Purifying
    Xbow: Nightshade and some Greensteel occasionally for now

    As I wrote this up I realized I couldnt get Insightful con in, which really sucks. Currently (Have not made all the items yet) cloak is Legendary Cloak of Cities Champion which covers ins con for now. Maybe a cannith insightful con belt with Diplo 21 and deathblock (slim pickens)

    -Slavers item I can do deception instead of Resistance but will lose +6 to all saves in doing so by slotting +8 aug

    You could also just slot a +2 Insightful Con augment too...obviously not as ideal as a full-value Ins Con item, but has zero tradeoff to your current plan too.

    Yeah. The question you need to ask yourself, are the extra insightful con points going to put you in a place to avoid being one shot. In order to answer that you need to know your play style and what kind of stuff you are looking to run. It’s not just “I need all the HP”. Choices have to be made here and there. I personally run a much different gear set, but it’s mostly raid items. And even still, I can’t fit everything in. Something is going to suffer. So build for how you play.

    Ooh also, I really really like Exploding Fire Shot rune arms for solo play. Blast barriers, flush hidden mobs or pull around corners, and efficiently blast breakables for ransack bonuses. 40 hamp is hard to top but the convenience factor is hard to quantify, especially on a fast moving quest bulldozer like inqui.

    There is more I might respond to when I get home, but I would like to point out that the raid bracers are not part of the set bonus even though they have the name that makes it sound like they would.

    Not a bad setup. My current setup:


    I put in a comparison between my set and a couple of other sets I've seen. Yours is the second gear suggestion. As you can see, my current setup has damage added in with Deception and Hide (Scion of the Ethereal Plane) and a lot of other defensive bonuses with Fortification and +8 to saves from wisdom. The main thing you get in yours is Seeker, MRR, Spot (I could slot it in instead of something else, but I don't feel the need for it), and FoM (which I can use on-swap). I could see the seeker possibly coming out ahead in damage, but on reaper sharn I'm still struggling to not glance mobs with a ~+170 to-hit; and that includes deception to-hit.

    I'm also thinking of using the Wildwood Bracers as a swap item instead of the castigators but it's going to be a while til I get those.

    Edit: Made a mistake with the first calc. You get 45 MRR and do not lose any PRR with your set.

    This is a clean way of comparison, I'll bounce to when making changes.
    I ended up ditching the Bronze Dragonscale belt. Did a cannith belt with Deathblock, diplo 21 and ins con 7. The slavers trinket has sheltering 45/quality int 4 and I left the other two slots uncrafted for now as I cant decide between the 14 resistance and deception (i want the dps). Also if I ever get the raid helm, tendon slice may be more useful than the spot.

    It's really nice the slavers ing cost has come down too. If changes are needed its not as terrible to remake something.

    I now have the Wildwood Bracers and Helm of the Final Watcher, and it is causing more gear Tetris issues ha-ha! Now my Legendary Spectre Boots only provide 'Ghostly'. I am still unsure what the best gear layout would be, everything being available.
