Default Level 15 best iconic for primary heals and dc caster. favored soul or cleric or?

We are getting our old group together to run only level 14 to 16 new (last few updates in that level range)quest. Im guessing once we run these quest, back to retirement in ddo, until new content comes out(meaning build for level 15 or 16 as cap)

This will be our primary healer, but we also lack insta kill and aoe dps. maybe just dps overall.

Question which would be best favored soul or cleric or?

This is not for end game, just to run the level 14 to 16 quest(sharn specifically) then back into retirement,

We plan to run on r3 to r5. All are 36 pt builds with + 5 tomes to all stats and 6 to 8 reaper points. 2 of the players are 8 and 12 years old. (My 8 year old lives to find safe spots is a very good warlock) 12 year plays the arti/rogue and back peddle kites to no end.

    These are the 5 classes
    1. Bard/swash/tiefling
    2. assimar sorc (level 16)
    3. assimar necro cleric(could heal but playstyle most likely wont, def off heal as needed)
    4. rogue/arti/wizzy gnome(didnt want to lesser out of the wizzy)
    5. purple dragon knight 2 fighter 14 warlock)

Question what should this groups 6 class be? taking into account they will be stuck with min 1 level of iconic starter class

Im not sure how we handle the constructs, implosion maybe? Undead an issue in that level range?

gear will be cannith and maybe some RL stuff. or other suggestions?

Do you really need a dedicated healer?
Guessing that ftr/lock is your tank in ES. If not you need more a tank than a healer.
Insnt that sorc enough on AoE?
Bard and Lock together may present a very nice false life shield. Combined with 3 off healers( art, bard and necro cleric).

If you planning to run without a tank, maybe a CC specialist. A spellsinger or warchanter bard can pretty well heal and cc or you go wizard for both instakill and CC.

Cleric could be your healer and tank too... There is plenty of options =)

Thank you I think I will post this in request a build section, probably should have been there in the first place.

We dont really have a way to deal with constructs but also the forge wraiths, so I'm leaning on assimar scourge
13 cleric, 2 ranger 1 fighter. using falconry wisdom, fighting with 2 heavy maces and picking up shield for dedicated healer fights.

Im hoping I can destroy the non red forge wraiths with turn undead. Trying to figure out as a group the best way to deal with all constructs, is a crafted construct bane best weaponwise?

If your sorc got a nice DC he can try sunburst on the forgewraiths too. Paladin t5 cleave also works. On constructs sharn introduced crafted weapons dedicated to that, dont know if its the best option but is the most obvious one.

This weapon could also be a swap for your swash and arti.

The pure cleric Morninglord is an option to consider...

Clerics have a variety of both Instant death and CC options.

With the additions of Domains the cleric also has an expanded list of abilities and even buffs. Also, some of the domains expand what can be turned.

This race also has access to a pretty nice Racial Tree buff that combines 3 spells into one.

Has an alternative route of using Arcane Archer via Racial enhancements possibly gaining access to Paralyzing Arrows (AA dcs use Wisdom)

Default sun elf seems really good

I think sun elf, would be the best healer, maybe go fire domain. I have to make the decision today. Leaning on original plan,

the scourge 13 cleric 2 ranger 1 fighter. Fire domain.

Or second would be pure cleric sun elf, also fire domain.

3rd not worry about undead and do favored soul, not sure which race.

I dont think the cleric aura and burst are big enough in r5 even at level 15. Maybe, depends on heal amp*I dont think much investment will be spent by party on that though.

Thanks again. I am so behind in the game, as far as builds and understanding how things stack.
