Default Daily dice experience- Put in the crafting tab of the bank!

Are you tired of non-stacking experience from dice rolls? Had it with shared bank filling up all the time?
Do you have mules and alts dedicated just to hold all those nuggets of experience?

Why not allow the players to put XP stones into the Crafting Storage side of the shared bank? We are "crafting" our characters, aren't we?

With all the currect (expanding) crafting materials and filigrees that go in there, who has room?

Make the XP stones stackable is the logical solution, but probably not easy to code or it would have been done already.

Anything to relieve the inventory headache that is the XP stones. They are VERY useful, but take up too much damn room.

I'd be especially keen seeing something that combines them into one big stone. Right now, banking more than the first level or two of stones is impractical(even with VIP gold rolls); but I for one would very much enjoy being able to store a few hundred k of XP in a single rock and use it when I just need that little extra kick.

That would be a very elegant solution, imho.

Perhaps add a 3rd Bank Tab called Miscellaneous. The Misc. tab could be for cosmetics, XP stones, Mirrors, Hair Dyes, etc. Any Store Bought item, really. This would serve double duty by freeing up room in the regular Shared Bank. And, would help alleviate some of the cosmetic storage woes folks are experiencing.

Likely not possible. But... Suggestions & Ideas is place where one can and should dream of the unlikely becoming reality.

Seems like putting the XP stones into the crafting tag would mean making them count as ingredients - which would mean they could also go into bags. Even if they don't stack inside the bags(or only stack by like-numbers) this would be a HUGE relief.

Let me play devil's advocate here:
    Why?

How long does it take to run from 1-30? 7 days when you're quick, 14 days are normal, 21 when you take your time. While you're on the first ~4 levels, you might still eat them up, so it'll be less than 20 pieces you want to save between 5 and 30 to eat after TR.
Ok, so suppose you stick at 30 a bit longer to farm rXP. You might get 40, 50 XP stones. At this point, they're already irrelevant. 50 stones will get you 17k XP, that's level 3. Given how you probably run a few Harbor quests anyway (for the inventory space^^), that's not a headstart you need, and one additional Kobold's New Ringleader will be much so quick and easy, the XP stones don't matter. Now we're talking about 50 and that's alread brutal on the inventory, true. But if you kick out 20 of those, you only lose 3k, leaving you with 30 stones for 14k or 20 stones for 11k.

So yeah, it would be nice, but it's not a huge issue. Personally, I usually put the ~12 stones I get before TR into my bank and drop them into the shared bank before clearing my TR cache, so they're right where I want them after TR.

This formula works assuming you're playing DDO like a crackhead. I only really "play" once or twice a week, but log in practically every day to grab my DD roll, check AH, Maybe smash out a quest or two. Have been on my current life for ~3 months, planning to TR into an iconic next. By the time I do another heroic life, I'll have hundreds of stones.

Right now, because they don't stack or go into bags, there's very little utility in banking more than a few dozen big ones. If they improved the system, saving them up for many lives in a row would actually start to have value.

If you log in daily just for the dicerolls - doesn't that make you the crackhead? :P And I've been there myself, so I really don't mean that as an insult, but looking back that's how I personally felt about it. Play the game or don't play it, but don't obsess for those little goodies.

100 stones would be 34k XP. If you just use the 400 XP and above, it's 40 stones for 22k. That difference of 12k is noticable for the very early levels, but in the end, that's just Kobold's New Ringleader + Info is Key + Bringing the Light (so 10min of play time). WW is the other 22k. What I'm trying to get at is, that skipping straight to 2 or maybe 3 makes the game a lot easier, but once you're at 3, you already bar yourself from certain quests in a way. So in essence, it takes you more time to login, roll the dice, logout over and over than it would to just run a quest for additional XP. It's hard to really precisely say, how much time it'd take to make up for the XP, because it depends on what quests you'd run anyway, but with those low levels, it's really just a bit of Harbour, WW, STK, Depths, 3BC and you're at level 6. So yeah, those 100 stones might grant you the opportunity to skip STK (23k).
There's a reason you don't pop XP stones at level 10 - because they don't matter. And getting to 10 is generally the quickest part of the game, so you don't get that much benefit.

Just to be clear, it's a QoL change and I'm generally all in favor of those, but to me, there's a difference between the ladder bug and the lava bug. One is annoying and costs you 2 seconds every now and then, the other forces you to logout, which messes up some sustained abilities, includes dying more often than not, etc. Both SHOULD be fixed, but only the latter HAS to be fixed and is a bit of an embarrassment to still be there. Stacking XP stones is like climbing ladders. Yeah, it would be good, but it's not a game changer.

One single conversion could help a lot:

    Combine 1 of each "small" stone (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) to create one 1500 stone.

Agree, I think in the same way... but, I'm afraid, technically it's impossible.

It would be even better to use the same algorithm, as for sentient stones.

I think that @OP has a good idea, but don't forget that each mule has a bunch of space. That's why I have 1 mule dedicated to XP gems. I even ran it up to level 2 of Coin Lord favor and level 1 of Kundarak favor.

Edit: Also, I eat anything that's 100 or 200 unless I'm already XP capped at 30. That saves a ton of room.

Also, you're assuming one character per player. That assumption breaks your entire post.

If you're running more than one character, you'll still end up with the same number of reincarnations per month. Because you'll take twice as long for 2 characters, but you'll have 2 reincarnations happening. Same for 3, 4, etc.

...that's not obsessing, that's just keeping up on the game. I hop in every day to take care of house keeping, catch up with guildies, check AH/mail/etc. While I'm there I happen to also hit the DD roll. That's nowhere near as obsessive as assuming everyone grinds 1-30 inside of a week.

We already have 'item feeding' as a concept in DDO, it wouldn't be a far stretch to have a purchase-able item that you can break down XP rocks into and then consume in one go to get all of the xp.

if stacking them is a problem or take to long to program how about a BTA bag for xp stones that hold 100- 500 of each type of xp stone
