Default Nonsensical and wasted attribute on new orb (Stygian Wrath)

Insightful intelligence? Really? That's already on the cloak that is also made for pale masters (Black Velvet Capelet)

Might I suggest the ability to choose between the following?

    Fire Shield Cold (Permanent)

    Fire Shield Hot (Permanent)

"Chill Of Death" (Convert your nullification spellpower to cold spellpower)

    or

"Infernal Necromancy" (Convert your nullification spellpower to fire spellpower)

The options of putting insightful stats on this orb is pretty nonsensical..........

They arent a set, though. The items have to stand on their own. Maybe in the future there's a different cloak that gets released that you might want to use instead - maybe a new set that takes up the cloak slot, e.g.

Take it off the orb now and people will just end up complaining later that they're being "forced" to give up their Ins Int for the new cloak. You cant just look at the new items in a vacuum.

Also, while its a very nice item for PMs, you cant create items that are the single answer forever for a given build. There's not ever going to be an increase in level cap, so the items we have now are always going to be among the options. If they create items that are all-in-one "perfect items" for certain builds (like the ones you suggested in the other thread) then there's no way to make anything else that build will ever use, except to just power-creep it up to an even bigger version.

No, it's getting worse........... according to what Lynnabel is saying, three items suitable for a Necromancer are getting insightful intelligence, people aren't gearing up and examining for non-stacking attributes. The power creep is unnecessary in terms of the higher stats on items offered, I wanted to see this expansion excel at offering a bunch of loot without the non-stacking attribute problem while throwing in some flavor that can satisfy on some level great enough to make the player feel more powerful. In the process we've actually lost one item that once had quality intelligence and now we are losing an item that had the standard intelligence stat. There are people trying to get lynnabel to switch the quality intelligence on the belt to insightful and at that rate it seems clear that they aren't actually running Lamannia, just attending the forums. If you create a bunch of gear with effects that do stack with eachother without running into non-stacking attributes, you end up with more room for flavor effects and effects that would be a must have for certain fights or dungeons. Meanwhile some item effect attributes are what an entire build depends on, too many non-stacking attributes and people don't have adequate reason to farm for so much of said gear as that creates a chance that their current equipment would offer more of a power/defense boost. Though I might add....... the power creep that there is doesn't help much in the new raid.

If lynnabel has two options, which one seems more like one she chose?

1-Examine loot for build potential and try to make the effects stack with eachother, make part of the item appeal based on there being a lack of non-stacking effects, part of the item appeal based on flavor, and part of the item appeal based on items that are able to be viewed as to being situationally essential while keeping individual loot effects at the same limits that recently released content has it at.

2-Make item appeal vastly based on power creep, discourage people from wanting to farm more than five pieces of gear per build on average, make it so that what might appear to be common sense equipment choices inevitably leads to non-stacking effects or effects that aren't even needed for some builds and call the presence of those useless effects a nerfing.
