Default Heroic Abbot - Elite Solo

This was a heart-pounding achievement. I wasn't at all expecting to succeed on this run, given that I did not have petrification immunity. I was primarily trying to practice the tiles; as such, no video unfortunately. I was fortunate to only be petrified once.

This was actually my first time completing this raid. In fact, I had never even flagged, let alone stepped in, before last night! I played around for a couple hours and learned the raid, but I didn't think I'd be able to solo it without petrification immunity. Guess persistence pays off!

Amusingly, the fire attack that the Abbot does lag glitched onto me permanently after I completed and killed me before I could loot. I then jibbered, although I realised afterwards there was a rez shrine. :P

Very nicely done, especially for a first time! As for the abbot's attack, that actually always sticks on you once you get hit by it. You can cure it using a remove curse potion, however. The intent is for you to use one of the ice ball wands to make a platform in the water and jump off the platform til the fire passes. This used to be lethal but not anymore.

Thanks for the info! I specifically tried to do it without reading the wiki page first for the fun of it, so I missed some things like this.
