I'll have a go at this:

Kickboxers glassed knuckles - Broken glass dipped hand wraps.
    • Level appropriate weapon dice
    • Piercing + Bludgeoning DR breaking
    • Tiered upgrades:

    1. primary effects from crunching in normal gems (ruby adds fire damage, etc)
    2. secondary effects from crunching in soul gems (strong earth elemental adds earthgrab on vorpal, etc)
    3. tertiary effects from crunched named trinkets (Fully upgraded Silver Flame trinket adds +1 sacred typed critical multi vs evil opponents, etc)

    • Effects can be overwritten by applying new gems/soulgems/trinkets
    • Bonus and cool effects from limited time items like green dragonshards

How about a polymorph melee weapon.

This weapon can take the form of any weapon type you choose. In addition, this weapon will automatically adjust ML and stats based on character level. This also potentially solves some bank issues.

Stats should not be OP but maybe on par or slightly better than random loot gen.

How about the Staff of Order's Wrath?

Re-work the Sireth template to include law damage 10d6. Daze chaotic enemies on crit. (legendary dc 100 will save)
Keep the slash / pierce damage and the expanded crit range.
    Knockdown immunity.
    Freedom of movement
Possibly an ability similar to Stand against the Tide (Gain bonus to melee power while attacking and standing still, up to +20)
Vulnerability stacks for law damage only.
Sentencing- random choice of legendary slay living or a legendary stone prison proc.
Abuse of Power-%20 bonus to helpless damage

Or it could be a war hammer or a maul- Gavel of Divine Justice

    Default Set Polymorphic weapon

Why not different weapons (sword : great, long, short, bastard; dagger; warhammer...) with the same atributes :
    - Metaline
    - Get your alignment (they are considered good if you are good or evil if you are evil)
    - Count as part of the set of your current armor
    - add random "elemental" effet on each hit (+ X D6 or D8 depending on the base damage of the weapon in fire, acid, frost, elec, sonic, force)

And if the raid had an heroic version that would be greater

    Default Metaline

IMO one of the things that made the old shroud weapons so wonderfull was that they where DR breaking on most mobs. A MINRAL II weapons was very very nice becourse of that. And ofc the crit profile. now most DPS have good Crit profile, but they still need to have the DR breaking somewhere. After the sentient weapons came in i belive people swap weapon less then what they used to .. and therefor breaking DR on all mobs is very very handy.

One day i hope there will be a 3 pice filigree set that would add metaline to your weapon. would fit perfect into your new minor artifact.

    Cheers DB

I like this and works great for most builds, and i love the idea of it being part of the set.

Hmmm. How about all weapons in the raid have a system called something like "Enhanced Sentience" - a percentage chance on hit or spellcast to proc various effects, timed buffs/debuffs, etc that are dependent on which sentient jewel you have slotted.
These are just some quick ideas that weren't very well thought out as far as balance goes, but I had some fun keeping the powers in line thematically with the personalities of the jewels.

Hopeful = 6 seconds of a 10% bonus to melee/ranged power, +10 dodge that ignores dodge cap+you're healed for 3-5% of your hp
Furious = 6 seconds of +2[w] and +1 crit range&multiplier that stacks with everything but itself and +10 to PRR&MRR
Resolute = 6 seconds of +1d2 charges of spell absorption, +5% bonus to movement and attack speed that stacks with everything but itself, no 'grazing hits' during this time - only miss on a natural 1
Blackrazor = 6 seconds of 2d4 negative levels (or -15% fortification to constructs and undead instead of negative levels) and 5% of vulnerable that stacks with other vulnerable sources except itself, +5% incorporeality that stacks with everything but itself
Wave = Legendary Crushing Wave (legendary meaning having 5x the damage of the normal Crushing Wave cold+bludgeon per tick, and stacks up to 5 times), 6 seconds of being healed by cold damage, healing from cold has an 18 second cooldown
Inquisitive = procs a 12 second AoE Confusion effect that can affect up to 5 targets within a tight radius, grants 3 seconds of invisibility not broken by attacking
Kobold = Legendary Mass Kobold! (ala mass frog, but transmutes enemies into CR1 Kobolds instead of frogs), reasonable but longer than others internal cooldown
Covetous = 6 second Gold CC helpless effect to an enemy (like the recent Platinum effect, but Gold instead) + 6 seconds of 10% extra damage to helpless, the next 3 hits you land for the 6 seconds following the Covetous proc have an added melee/ranged power bonus equal to the number of gold coins in your inventory.
Timid = Procs a fear effect that causes an enemy to run away screaming and explode or transmute into some random thing (a poof of feathers, a micro sized tasty ham storm, a small pool of grease on the floor ala the grease spell, a flock of seagulls that flies away, becomes mechanized and falls apart with gears and springs sproinging out all over the place, the pac-man death effect, I can think of tons more of these kinds of things), if you are hit by a fear effect you get 3 seconds of Radiant Forcefield cast on you.

Some of these things would have a brief cooldown in addition to the % chance to proc, and some would have just the % chance to proc with no cooldown. For example, Furious could have a 10% chance to proc with a 9 second cooldown, but Blackrazor would be a 5% chance to proc with no cooldown. Mass Kobold could be something like a 10% chance to proc but with a 90 second cooldown. Covetous 3% chance, 1 second cooldown. You guys do the number magic, but you get what I mean.

Caster weapons would also have stuff but thematically correct caster benefits for those sentient gems. I don't really play casters so I couldn't begin to give ideas on what those powers would be. But they should stick with the theme of the sentient jewel.

So the idea is you have all your cool and different actual legit uniquely imagined raid weapons but each with the option to unlock said power when it's fitted with that particular sentient jewel. The effects would last only while the item is equipped so you couldn't stack benefits by switching weapons.

    ---

In the past some feats were added to items, for example Wind Through the Trees on the Fleetfoot Necklace. It might be cool to look at some of the enhancement trees for some ideas for special effects as well. For example one of the effects on a raid weapon could be to proc the Earsmash effect from Barbarian Occult Slayer on a roll of 19-20. Also please consider lifting the embargo on non-standard crit profiles that aren't provided by the 'Keen' property, even if it's just for one or two things every once in a while. In all I think there is a lot of potential and NEED to spice things up in the special effects department of all raid items not just weapons.

I am trying to think of a weapon that has rarely been represented in raid loot... Then I got the idea for... DARTS!

    Rushing Roulette (returning throwing dart):

    10(1d3 + 5) + 15 enhancement bonus
    Metalline
    Aligned
    Poison damage (10d6) per hit
Quixxellops' Dreaded Hangover: On a role considered vorpal (usually 20), an opponent struck by this dart must make a fortitude save of DC 100 fortitude or be affected by the hangover effect of Xorian Cider (NPC's will make a comment indicating they've been affected adversely - room for comedy), followed by blowing chunks uncontrollably (thus acting as a form of crowd control).
Chaos burst - 7d6 per hit, with 30d6 per critical (40d6 on a modifier of 3, and 50d6 on a modifier of 4 or higher).
    Ziind Stargazer - Level 12 fighter/6 Barbarian/2 rogue Half-Orc (Neutral Good) - Formerly a level 20 Paladin Human - Orien

    Fernian Summer Carnival

Yes, I said ML 10 on purpose. Yes, it's only obtainable in the Legendary raid. Use it on your next life if you want.
Could be op in high reaper

    Anyways, soulstone crusher:
    Falchion, metaline, aligning 5W
Adds 3 times your str bonus and power attack modifier
On a crit, randomly kills a random toon in party, victim can not be raised but ends up in the last bind spot

I was concepting a Paladin 2Hander that allows you to tank and block with effectively . Would be a nice niche change of scenery item. For a theme source Excalibur would be great. We have few "good aligned" and "antimagic" 2hander items.

It could feature extra SR, MRR, PRR, Absorption while blocking.

Another idea i had is to build in an effect similar to auto shield bashing, but instead automatic "free" cleaves could span out from the weapon, maybe with a smaller cone shape?, or just dance of death for a few seconds on vorpal.

Bonus idea for a cool secret effect, if you are struck down to at exactly 1HPs you gain 20s of immortality, like absolutely not taking any damage. It is quite unlikely to be exactly at 1HPs, so probably dont worth and extra item effix slot. Every 3mins ICD. Could probably get more gameplay utility at 100 hps tho with maybe 99% reduction.

    The Lick
    Type: Handwraps
    Material: Something (Bane)
Legendary Jubilex Sundering: On Crit causes 10% of Armor and Fort of enemy to dissolve. Max stack of 5.
Legendary One With Nothing: On attack has a reasonable chance of you to partly dissolve into nothingness. (5% chance to cast a Dark Discorporation like effect on yourself without the break-off on hitting something, max once every 60 seconds, lasts for 30 secs.)
Legendary Sticky Goo Blast: On attack has a reasonable chance of blasting each enemy in a small radius with Sticky. (2% chance)
Legendary Curse of The Avatar: Once every 3 seconds eats one Ki (if Ki is zero or less it starts eating away your HP)
Text: Throwing that chest at Jubilex was one thing, binding the remains of both together with strings of beholder eyes is something else. But what are you thinking when you wear it as mittens?

    Spinal Trap
    Cha to Damage
11(1d11+11) Critical threat range 18-20/x3, Acid
    Type: Light Crossbow
    Material: Bone
Widow's Blight: On crit a pool of Web emerges. (No save against entanglement for mobs that walk into it but once every 3 seconds dc 90 str check to break free.)
Tortured Cry: Each bolt has a small chance to detonate in a large radius doing a whail (DC 90 Will)
Cruality: On hit three neg levels and stacking of fear
Strickening Bite: On hit 5 stacks of Vulnerable
Text: While all parts are carefully extracted from Whisperdoom maybe next time pull those legs while she's not alive anymore, that's just cruel... for the intern that got whailed in the process.
This xbow is the backbone for Drow keen enough to adventure the Surface.

    Appearance:
The xbow's Lath (or limbs) is made of two spiderlegs, the stock looks like to be made of a spine with a fanged spiderskull as riser.

Spirit of the Kender Thief (Handwraps)

    1d6 damage

Low Quality: -1 to hit and damage
Spirit of Benevolent Curiosity: 1% chance loot in chests is automatically passed to you. Does not affect items that cannot be passed in chests.

    The Parasite— Long Sword
Stats etc: whatever. Probably legendary paralyzing, Frosbite, Enervation & Soul Eating.
On killing blow, gain the following: all remaining hp of foe as temporary hp for 1 minute which heal for 50% of same on timer expire. These temporary hp keep stacking. Each time a kill occurs in this manner, the wielder also gains a stack of nausea: various stacks result in slight debuffs to will saves etc.

Upon equip, slowly lose hp per second in increasing amounts (say, Fibonacci sequence x10) if an enemy is not slain by you within 30 seconds. Player cannot unequip the weapon in such an instance. Yup...

If wielder dies, weapon will instantly perform a Raise Dead (not ressurection) and launch its wielder into Host Frenzy: +4 rage bonus to STR & CON, raged for six minutes as per rage spell (all limits and bonuses apply) and HEALED by all incoming damage for 12 seconds. In Host Frenzy, any opponent killed on a vorpal strike will explode, blowing body bits in a large radius which knockdown all oponents (no save).
Wiki dashboard with some useful stealthplay links
Proud Knight of the Silver Legion, Cannith: Saekee (main; epic completionist), Naerfelka (farmer), Saelegion (parked level 4)
