    Default Quicker ETR (QoL)

Let's face it: most people when they ETR, they will HTR right away. Not all, but enough. Whenever you ETR you have to completely level from 1-20 again, and depending on the class that can be horrifyingly slow. Sure, you can put as few points in INT as possible (fewer skill points), but as a spellcaster or specialist, there's still a lot of brainless clicking.

What to do? Create an option to "level as before", where you immediately get the same spells, skills, etc you had back at level 20. Not saying this should be enforced (someone might want to swap something), but the option would be great. Now I get that the game would somehow have to store the leveling choices and that this might be the issue but that's not my expertise.

PS: This might also help with a bug I've encountered a while ago, where TRing from Arti to Arti would not let me choose the 1st level spells I've had before. So I could only get them when I hit level 2.

The whole design of the TR system is 'how-NOT-to-do-it-101'. Given the pervasive issues
with TR, I really wouldn't want any of the current complement of developers to touch it. It's
obviously a horrible system which they don't fully understand.

I think an even better solution would be to have the option to do a double TR back to 1. You simply select the double TR option you want (ETR & RTR, or ETR & HTR), put your two appropriate hearts in, select the past lives you want, and click go. When you “reincarnate” on the character selection screen you start back at level 1 without needing to level up to 20 in between.

I would not mind an optional "level as before". I've been on both sides of this problem several times and it is frustrating.
