Default LR options for WF Cleric-Monk requested

Howdy folks, would like some input on a build that's been retired for a while.
    17/3 Cleric/Monk
Lawful Neutral, Warforged, 32 point (1st life), +2 tomes on all stats except Charisma.
I have a LR+20, and two LR+0s to work with.
I don't have Epic Destinies, nor do I have Harper or Falconry trees.
(I have Warforged, Monk and Artificer)
I'm not sure that I own enough content to unlock Favoured Soul via favour yet, may be an option.

Currently the most appealing option is rerolling via LR+20 into some sort of Kensai Warpriest, using Centered Greatswords.
For fun and flavour mostly, don't even have any nice named greatswords to build around.

The central concept was playing a WF Cleric that had easy access to healing amp
(heroic Jidz Tetka bracers and Cannith crafted Blood docents of various defense types)

I levelled up the character with Wisdom as primary stat and minimal investment into combat feats.
(only took the first TWF feat, Stunning Fist and Toughness, instead opting for Extra Turning and Extend)
Wasn't built around stunning mobs with a Heal scroll in hand, but that was surprisingly useful.

I'm vaguely considering swapping in Wizard, Sorc or Arty levels somehow as a way of reducing the MAD.
Willing to replace the Monk levels if I can get equivalent/superior healing amp.
Paladin, Bard and Barbarian all have neat options to consider, but unavailable due to alignment.

Possible build splits I've been exploring with character planner:
    9/8/3 Cleric/Fighter/Monk
    10/6/4 Fighter/Monk/Cleric
    12/5/3 Fighter/Cleric/Monk
    12/4/4 Sorcerer/Fighter/Cleric

as well as rerolling into a pure Artificer, Sorcerer or Wizard, but I already have other alts covering these roles.

    Ty for your time!

I been having quite a bit of fun with a 18/2 Warforged Wiz/Mnk Evocation Focused with Unarmed TWF for quick EK processes and Eldritch Tempest that works like whirlwind attack.

Not sure how good it is leveling up, since I just swapped out 2 wiz levels for Mnk levels on a capped toon.

You should really consider either HTRing or unlocking EDs before venturing into epics without them. I won't go so far as to say you're wasting your time playing epics without EDs buuuut an awful lot of your epic power comes from EDs plus they take so long to level on a first-lifer that you don't really want to "waste" epic XP on not leveling them, if that makes sense.
    9/8/3 Cleric/Fighter/Monk
    10/6/4 Fighter/Monk/Cleric
    12/5/3 Fighter/Cleric/Monk

Anything of these options would work, but what exactly are you trying to accomplish here?

ty for the build! 18/2 Wizard-Monk seems like a solid transition option, and most of my Clonk gear would still be useful for such a build. the Eldritch Knight enhancement line looks a lot more appealing after looking into it a bit more. Especially while I don't have the Harper or Falconry trees yet. I imagine the Falconry tree's ability to sub in Wisdom as an attack/damage modifier would greatly benefit Cleric-Monk builds, even a WF variant.

ty for the advice! this character is one i definitely want to hold off levelling past 20 until i pick up Epic Destinies. hmm, i might be willing to level up bank character in meantime though.

at the core of it, i'm most interested in hearing people's experiences playing a WF Cleric, especially ways they've pumped up healing amp and defences. what's the best way to make use of Greatswords as primary weapon?

i'm also quite keen to see builds that incorporate Ameliorating Strike or similar party support healing abilities into a self sufficiency build. anything that heals or buffs the party based on my character's total level rather than specific class level would be a plus.

(also on a side note, does Ameliorating Strike work on a Silver Flame build using Longbows?)

...and i'm quite curious to see some sort of Greatsword Kensai Ninja Warpriest, though i understand if that seems a bit much to try fitting into the parameters currently available to me

    --

I've LR+20'ed a variant character with L/G alignment into a Paladin to get a feel for that class a bit more. At some point I'll want to TR this character and a few others, and Paladin life seems like a good option to aim for.

Since this character has L/N alignment and any prospective TR is a while away, I plan to experiment with a Barbarian/Cleric mix on another alt, that seems like maybe a simpler path to building in healing amp easily and fooling around with Greatswords. I don't know whether the Destruction Domain would allow for casting while using Bladesworn Transformation, no biggie if not so, but cool if it does.

Another route might be more Monk levels and investing in Whirling Steel Strike and Knight's Training, instead of going for 8 Fighter levels to unlock Ki Greatswords. With Longswords could go for a split like 14/6 CLR/MNK. That said, I could do that on any race, whereas the Greatsword as favoured weapon is only available to my WF divines.

This is what the character currently looks like (albeit no Deity or Domain feats yet)

    Hi...

When it comes to melee clerics, you have 2 basic paths to go down
    1. As many cleric levels as possible, going for a mainly healer character with crappy melee damage, that can stand and bang with a mob without any issues, and eventually kill it.
    2. Mostly cleric (11-14 levels) with melee classes (usually fighter/pally/monk) for a melee character that can buff, heal (and enjoy a domain buff if you go 14 deep) and do reasonably well in combat. you won't be top in either but that's obviously the trade off.

    3. "Just give me ameliorating strike" build, which used to be a thing when it would proc on both weapons while two weapon fighting, and on the doublestrikes; however on a greatsword build... not so much. you'll get one proc.
I personally found the heal amount to be too small to rely on for reliably healing myself or others, so I personally don't find taking cleric levels just for that utility (and sinking points into the warpriest tree for it) to be worth the investment. Be sure to test it out on a THF build before committing to LR into one of these.

Because of your alignment, barbarian and paladin are off the table, which leaves you (as I see it) with few viable alternatives:
    11/6/3, unarmed with heal
14/6, heavy armor greatsword build (adamantine body)
and the 9/8/3 Cleric/Fighter/Monk, which you're already looking at. Though it might lack the healing required for keeping a warforged up, but that's really down to personal preference and playstyle.

If you would like to go the greatsword route, I'd suggest looking at a 14/6 split without the monk
If you'd like to remain clonkish, then the 11/6/3 could be nice

If all you're looking for is an AoE heal, then I'd say - go full monk. ameliorating strike is 1d3 per character level, monk light finisher is 1d4 + [1d4 per monk level].
you'll have +60% heal amp from shinato cores, and you'll have everything a greatsword ameliorating strike build gives you, only better - damage/saves/speed/defense/healing.
