    Default Frostbow

    Please give me a hand with suggestions for my buiild. I am going with a 14 cleric, 6 ranger. I need the cleric past life, and have enjoyed playing an arcane archer in the past, and I just unlocked falconry on my main toon. Thanks in advance for any help you can give:

    It'll perform okay getting to 20 but for getting to cap or staying there awhile there's a ton of things I'd do differently. The race and class split are viable but I'd not worry about dc casting at all nor would I put points into warpriest as those 22 point distributeds to Deepwood (for sniper shot 11ap) and Falconry (5% hp/no mercy/ins damage/amp) are far more valuable. Ameliorating strike is really cool but you're a cleric, so, cast heal spells if you need to.

    In epics you'll want to twist in Pin from Shiradi. When you IPS paralyze mobs and then hit them with Pin they become helpless - and with Sense Weakness from Fury plus No Mercy from tier 4 Falconry you'll have a massive DPS increase. Honestly I like the warpriest tree in a way for FvS builds but for Cleric heavy Falconry investment is the way to go.

    Edit: oh, and War Domain if going epics. You don't have any sort of critical threat or multi improvement and War will get you Holy Sword for +1 to both. Don't sweat trying to pump up your elemental arrows, paralyzing and terror with high wisdom and a +enchantment dc item will be always be better for everything except boss fights.

    All excellent suggestions, thank you. I am updating the original post with some modifications. I hadn't thought about how may points I was spending in Warpriest for minimal returns, so that helps a lot. I did have the Pin twist already, but did not have paralyzing arrows in my AA tree, so that has been fixed. I had considered war domain before, but had mis-remembered, thinking that HS did not work on ranged weapons.

    Keep those suggestions coming if anyone else has good ideas!
