False advertising again

This is the second week in a row where the DDO Store freebie is not delivering what's promised.

Last week, the code for Greater Elixir of Angel Tears instead gave the non-greater version.

This week's code gives Barkskin +2, while the advertisement says +3.

That's all.

I agree with Kayalissa. In my mind, "False Advertising" implies an intentional attempt to deceive. One need not ascribe malice to a fairly obvious pair of goofs. If I were the one responsible for setting up such things, upon activation, a coupon for a Potion of Stoneskin would probably delete all your boots.

The only reason to use it is to cast it on other players who have clearly gone through a lot of trouble with cosmetic gear. The potion will not do that.

Well I tried to make the post sound neutral, perhaps I failed. Maybe I was surprised that this happened in two consecutive weeks.

As for why I even grabbed these useless pots... I don't know. For the science. Free stuff, gotta grab that.
