    Default Repeating X-Bow audio

After more time playing an Artificer, I've found that the FPS feeling a ranged build gives is great fun. Sneaking around, cross sectioning rooms, sniping, all amazing.
The thing that is left heavily wanting however is the Cross Bow firing sound effects. After a while, the "plink plink plink just becomes annoying.
Has anyone experimented in trying to load a new sound effect to replace the stock?
Years back, you could do something like this with Doom and those platforms.
Yes, I do imagine this would constitute a breach in ToS, but man..........maybe worth it???
There are plenty of places to grab a decent 3peat burst sound effect from.
    Thoughts?

    1) Turn sound off.

    2) Turn music on.

    3) ...

    4) Profit!

OP, you can turn off just the weapon audio:

    SoundEffectsVolume.PNG

This will turn off the plink, plink, plink...

For my repeater xbow users, it does not bother me, but the slider is adjustable.
You can also change these values by editing the UserPrefrences config file in your DDO directory.

I rather like the mechanical 'plink plink plink' sound.

agreed, the Sound Effects toggle is an option, but not the most desirable.

^^^ is a sound i imagine would be delightful.

I know it is purely a whimsical desire.
