    Default Game freezes since expansion patch

    Since the patch my game has been freezing at frequent intervals from between 1 to 10 seconds, then continues normally. I'm not alone, a couple of guildies are also complaining of this. Very annoying and potentially deadly to my toon. So... server or client side, anyone else getting the same, and what to do about it?

    Thanks for posting this, I thought it was just me but I have had the same thing happen. It's very disconcerting to be in mid combat and to have the screen just stop for 5 seconds or so then it starts back up, but the mobs didn't freeze....

    I had a few freezes last night. The first one was after game updated itself. I logged in, logged into a toon, and it froze as soon as toon was loaded. I reloaded and the toon works fine the second time, but it froze when I entered 3bc from the slayer zone. I logged out. Came back 3 hours later and had no problems since, but have noticed there are more intervals now where things freeze up for a second. Tis a bit more laggy..

    I am seeing this on the Mac client. The frame rate drops to zero, and then a few seconds later everything starts again. It's pretty frequent. I restarted my machine since it had been running for nearly a month at that point. But it did not help. What operating systems are people using?

    windows 10 home, 64 bit here

    Happening to me and my whole TR group as well, all Win 7 - 10, 64bit (afaik) and only since the patch. Complete screen freeze for 2-5 seconds. Please fix asap SSG.

    Happening too me today and all last night. Win10 no issues like this before last update.

    Default Had the same issue. This fixed it:

    Do the windows run thing

    Type cmd

    Then type

    netsh int ip reset reset.log netsh winsock reset catalog

    Then I restarted. Game works fine now.

    I got this too; I noticed that when the client freezes, I have heavy HDD activity when it's happening and yes, the mobs don't "freeze" either. This started right after the big patch we had.

    Yep, same here. Windows 10, never any problems before patch. Have a friend reporting the and issue since the patch. Glad it’s not just me.

    The netsh commands did not fix this for me. Can we get a response devs... so we at least know that you are aware of this issue?
