Any idea which server each member represents?

Cetus please fix fighters. You are our only hope! :-)

Also please figure out a way to better balance ranged combat vs. melee.

Oops! I actually intended to lock this thread so it was just a roster rather than a discussion, but whatever. As long as the discussion remains cool, we can keep it here.

The reality is of the 250ish applications received, there were only a handful that fell into the "no way should they be on the Council" category. So, it was hard to narrow the list. Thankfully, since we're no longer doing a yearly tenure, and will be adding and refreshing the roster more regularly, not making this first cut has little to do with whether you'll be invited in the future.

Correct, no longer a set period of time. We're basing it on actual needs rather than an arbitrary date.

It likely means that if you don't contribute or argue too much they'll cut you quicker than a hooker who doesn't get paid. On the other hand, if you are enough of a sycophant and agree with everything they'll keep you on until the heat death of the universe.

They should, yeah, since it was one of the questions in the application.

Unlikely. I certainly feel like I was more argumentative than sycophantic my first stint, and they still let me back in.

And plenty would say I am more sycophant than argumentative, and I didn't get brought on again... Yet.

Great list of names! Congratulations to all who made it. The opportunity you have to help improve our game further is a grand one, steep in DDO lore.. Stay constructive. Almost all of us have one common bond, we want the game to succeed.

I have at least one character on every server, and I try to play at least once a week on every server, but I never go more than once every two weeks without playing on all the servers. From what I can tell, they chose based on diversity. In other words, they didn't stock the council solely with mindless followers who only play rogues on Thelanis (no offense if anyone reading this happens to play a mindless rogue on Thelanis, I truly have no specific character in mind .

Also, for the person who asked, I have three clerics, one in each tree. The only classes I don't have yet are barbarian (which will probably be my next), monk (which I just bought), wizard, warlock, and sorcerer. I am planning to have one first life character in all of these at one point so I can get used to playing and building them, but I do have a job and family, so that unfortunately limits me a little time wise.

Thanks! I do play clerics very often. I also like rangers, ranger rogues and rouges. The only class I have yet to play is monk. I am on Argo mostly.

Looks like being honest isn't the way to apply for council membership.

Cordovan, do you know if working with SSG will allow more information about a PC to be released more openly? I saw DDOtalk71 on the list and it made me think about deep PC discussions in podcasts or streams. I know the private IRC thing and all that, however it was rarely used when I was available to check in on it.

I just think there is an interesting opportunity where say the PC members can be doing something together with you or whomever on the team has time to work with them, and have someone take minutes or review the video to make some feedback/notes. I know how much of a double edged sword it could be after using conferencing for collaboration and seeing it go both ways. LOL
