I recall someone buying a bloodstone off the ah back years ago when the item was rate and useful. The person bought the gem and was very annoyed. That particular bloodstone gem was apparently very rare as it induced excitement, greed, and anger in the buyer or seller.

to be honest i have no idea.
gems are just some sort of gold, that will fill your inventory slots if your gembag isnt huge enough

Smuggler's gems.
I remember years ago when I had the option to walk away from Fitzpat instead of giving him the gems, but the vendors wouldn't buy them. Still feel like I get the raw end of this deal whenever I turn in the quest.The threadkiller has spoken.
