Since there are so many monsters in the world, along with known planes, would people actually freak out if they saw a space alien in Eberron?

What? Hrm....must be Fred is having friends in town for Festivult! Well, if they are friends of Fred, they are friends of mine! Let's take these friends of Fred from Space (you ever heard of that country?) to the Phoenix and show them how much we appreciate their bud Fred!

There are already some - they hang out in the bar having a beer like anyone else, and nobody even notices.
I don't mean to come across as unsympathetic - but I am, so I do.

They have a standard "freak out" when things in Khyber (below them) appear, so they might have another standard "freak out" ofr things in Sibery (above them).

Adventurers: No. They would be the same as an other mob or NPC, depending on the situation.

Non-adventurer Stormreach-dwellers: Definitely. They freak out at just about everything.

No, they would just see a new race with new shinies to trade/buy/loot.

Are you kidding? They would just assume someone's Polymorph spell went wrong.

    Slightly wrong.

After seeing that hobgoblin in kitchen with all those hams and how he reacted. Well, at least we can eat all those tasty aliens right? Hambies are kinda rotten here.

No, and they probably wouldn't even recognize it as a "space alien." Compared to devils in the marketplace, it would be no big deal.

Doubtful that aliens (if they would even be understood as such) would cause any more ruckus than a xoriat party. That is to say the local commoners may hire adventures to tell them to shove off but the adventurers aren't going to be any more sussed than usual and will likely invite them to a drinking contest before shoving their drunken bodies into the closest portal home.

Only, if the Devs didn't make it a new character race that they could have for free!

Unlikely. There's already too many different species for everyone to keep track of. If visitors from the planet Xenon showed up, it would just result in a case of mistaken identity.

They would just be akin to visitors from an unknown plane of existence, and reactions would be based accordingly as well as on the alien's levels of hostility, etc.
