Really depends on what the fighter is battling, but the iron defenders run very loudly, not to mention their exhaust breath.

    I vote Artificer Iron Defender
If I seem rude, I'm sorry, I just have strong feelings about this game, since I've only played two games in the last few years., and this is my only multiplayer game. I'm much nicer in game.

Default Which makes more noise: A fighter in Full Plate or an Artificer Iron Defender?

Depends if you have the Fighter Player's mike muted.

    Artificer Iron Defender.

Cuz of the squeaky noises it makes from gnawing on a Kobold bone.

My speakers say the Artie Dog makes more noise. It's definitely clankier.

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with swords."

Iron Defender! (Artificer is the noisiest character with an Iron defender and repeater)

Easily the fighter. When was the last time you had an iron defender scream at you, "HJEAL ME!"?

An Iron Defender with levels in artificer? That the sound of clanking AND runearms shooting AND a crossbow firing (from the mouth of course).
That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

Feature wishlist: colour-coded HP bars; red/blue teams in raids; rez-timer in party menu; equip-able halflings

    Artificer Iron Defender
It intentionally makes noises and barks, which you can't prevent, while a Fighter in full plate could invest heavily in move silently.

The Fighter. Not only do you have the sound of metal on metal, you have the swearing about how he is going to get that darn rogue for stealing his coin purse leaving him without Ale money

It all depends if the feet of the Iron Defender is pure metal or cushioned.
