Hey, about all this talk about the Mark of Death... isn't it one of the list of "mysteries" that the creator of Eberron left so that DMs could make stuff up if they wanted to? Like the Mournlands, the Draconic Prophecy, etc.

Essentially, I think that arguing over points of canon that the creator left intentionally blank is pointless, since Turbine, like any DM, is going to put their own interpretation on it.

Some are better than other IMO.

I really liked the Dreaming Dark series, and the Dragon Below series, and felt that the Crimson Talisman was just awful.

No he layed out that the mark was basically wiped out except for Vol who can't use her mark since she is undead.

12 gods, nr 13 is lost,
12 moons, nr 13 is destroyed (piccolo/pikkoro style XD),
12 nations, nr 13 got blown up,
    12 Dragonmarked houses, nr 13 (death)got destroyed,

    and the list goes on

Necro 4 was always one of my favorite packs but really starting to hate all damb undead. 90% of all 25+ quests are undead. For a rogue you cannot do anything against undead since only mobs in game immune to sneak attack. Even constructs have a enhancement rogues can get to do sneak attack damage but not undead. Makes rogues next to useless in high end content. You would think they would bring some devils or demons in high end quests that stuff in D&D that was always the most powerful.

None of stormhorns has undead, all fleshy.

Only shadows and a Cyglthax and the the worm are undead in Wheloon.

About half of the trash in High Road are undead along with one boss, the rest being human bloodsacks.

For everything immune, take assassin's trick, that's what it's there for, make anything susceptible to partial sneak damage.

There will probably be a solid mix of mobs also in the new content, human cultists, flesh golems (take wrack construct), etc. - Specialists have to specialize...

It's a very good reason to keep 18 cleric, Divine Disciple holds the secrets to defeating an EE shadows saves.

Better read assassins trick again it lowers a mobs fortification and only makes intelligent mobs 25% damage form sneak attack witch most undead are not. Also other then bosses it is useless to use since has a 5 second use timer on stupid ablility. Rogues are useless on undead always have been. Lets count the number of quests post 25 that have undead. Study in sable, HH, Both thunderholme raids, 2 out of 5 E3BC, 3 out of 5 Weloon, 2 out of 5 Stormhorns, and FOT raid. Those are the only 25+ quests high roads is only 23 level quests and yes that has lot of undead too. So 12 out of 20 quests 25 and over have undead.

As for undead I agree so tired of same undead. Would love to see some new undead with this expansion. Something like revanents, banshees, nightshades, or maybe even a angel of decay as a boss that would be really cool.

btw, i have seen this crop up in this thread, Vol is not a god(ess)
In Eberron the clergy gains spells by believing in something or someone (assuming they have the class and stats needed).
Maybe she ascends to demilich, maybe she becomes mortal and we have to defend her against Argonessen who in the end kill her anyway, or get ordered by Argonessen to kill her
    i am rather curious now....

The gods don't walk the material plane as they would on the forgotten realms.
and i say would, because when lv 28 people, so magically advanced they made an industry out of it, invade your realm i would expect a little bit more divine intervention then what we see now. then again, most of the eveningstar guest are usually placed at a lower level then epic....

They did mention Werewolves but we've already encountered those. So not exactly new.
