Default Pally PL for Shuri build

So I have my 3 monk Past lives on my shuri build, and am actually on my 4th now. Figured it was time to figure out another useful Past Life to get and with the upcoming changes to Knight of the Chalice and Holy Sword, it seemed a good time to consider Paladin. This is a preliminary build I came up with. Looking for any helpful feedback on ways to improve it. Requires: 3 Monk/14 Pally. I will not be using shadow dodge because I consider it to be not WAI and choose not to use it.

After dying, Shadow Dodge works as described.
Example: Shadow Dodge is on, working as it works normally. Then you die. Then you un-die. Shadow Dodge claims to be turned on, and is actually working as described. If you then proceed (after dying) to turn it off and back on, it re-glitches, but as long as you simply ignore it after dying, it works as described. I believe it also forces it into the "working as described" mode when you level up. I'm not sure whether it's on all level-ups, or just heroic ones, or just rogue ones, but it definitely goes to WaD after some kind of leveling up.

Just some food for thought--if you wouldn't object to using Shadow Dodge if it didn't feel like an exploit, there are ways to put it in your build without feeling bad.

As for advice on that build, I would try to get quick draw and rapid shot as soon as possible. They are certainly more useful than IC:Thrown. Also, Combat Archery seems to me to be a weak choice. It adds an average of 1.5 damage per shuriken (per shuriken, not throw), and 2% dodge. The dodge may or may not do anything for you, but from a purely damage-based standpoint Great Dexterity may be better. +1 DEX may or may not give you +1 damage, but it will certainly give you 0.02 extra shurikens per throw. If you, for example, have 50 main-hit number, 10 damage from sneak attack, and 10 from item effects, that's already 1.4 damage per shuriken (assuming no +1 from DEX), although you almost certainly do much more than 70 damage per shuriken, especially at endgame.

Unless you have epic past lives (in doubleshot), and the doubleshot guild buff, and some doubleshot/doublestrike items, it probably is more worth it to go 6 monk for 10k stars than to go 3 monk + 3 rogue for WaD Shadow Dodge, assuming you don't hate keeping track of your ki and the 10k timer. Besides, monk levels are sexier. And give run speed. And better saves. And AC. And free Adept. And a monk feat.

EDIT: "Working as intended" is often a bad term. Until Turbine makes an official statement (by putting it in the Known Issues list, for example), there is no way of knowing what was intended. "Working as described" means "it is working how the in-game text claims it should be," which is usually what people mean when they say WaI.

Agreed just go 14/6, make sure you have shuriken expertise and the ranged throwing feats. Re CA vs Great Dex, without Shadow dodge or perma/scroll Tensers, your Dex is going to suck, relatively. Youll get more mileage from Great Dex. If your Dex is over about 70, its a toss up or CA if you need the Dodge to cap out.

Yours wont be that high without Tensers and Shadow Dodge.
