I LRed my cleric Avenlight (he was 17Cleric/2Monk/1Fighter) to 12Fvs/6Monk/2Pal to increase AOE dps mostly, inspired by Shoikan and Zoda on Argon.
I decided to go 12 Fvs for the Archon and enhancements selection, 6 Monk for the free feats and stances, 2 Pal for saves. The result is that on this build I have all the most important Feats for both spells (3 mental thoughnesses and metamagics) and melee dps (WWS, GTWF, PA, etc.). With also a good ranged ability via spells.
- 300 to 400 spellpower with light, fire, little less positive
- 30% to 40% crit chance with fire and light spells, little less with positive
- Awsome AOE via Fire burst and crusader abilities
- 130/hit with twf
- 13-20 crit profile
- 60 stenght, 50 charisma easy
- 70+ saves easy
- 2700 sp
- 900+ hp
- 60 prr
- 90sh AC
- 20% dodge
- Many more...
- Maybe just the need to swap ED or Twists (cocoon, renewal) for intensive healing raids
Here's a video to show the build, which works also as 1st lifer with mid gears (mine are not optimal yet, just good) (consider that video was before melee power come out, actually dps are easy 30%higher):
Level progression, initial stats (human 32pb) str13 dex13 con14 int8 wis8 cha18 (lvl up cha):
1 FVS - Maximize, Quicken (human), Follower of the sovereign host
2 Monk - PA
3 FVS - Mental thoughness
4 FVS - Child of the sovereign host
6 FVS - WF: Slashing, Energy resistance electricity
7 FVS - Unyelding sovereignty
8 Monk (+2 dex tome) - TWF
9 Monk - Light path, Improved mental thoughness
12 Monk - WSS, Master of forms
15 FVS (+4 dex tome) - ITWF
16 FVS - Energy resistance fire
18 FVS - GTWF, Beloved of the sovereign host
21 Epic - IC: Slashing
24 Epic - Empower
26 Epic - Perfect TWF
27 Epic - Epic mental thoughness / Blinding Speed
28 Epic - Epic spellpower: fire
Basically wraps or staff are better than longswords untill level 12, on Epic levels the difference becomes huge with the right enhancements selection and ED/twists. All the rest (gears, enhancements, skills) should be already in the video but ask if you need clarifications!
Let me know what do you think!
