Please fix melee/ranged DOT's to allow the DOT to share the same damage type as the weapon that applied it. For instance: A rogue's "Bleed Them Out" melee attack which applies a bleed effect doesn't have the actual bleed bypass DR even though the weapon that applies the bleed did.

If this is just a bug then please fix it. If it's "working as intended" then please reconsider that because it doesn't make sense for a weapon to bypass DR but the DOT it applies doesn't.
