Default Officers can't buy airship amenities?

Just tried to purchase some airship amenities while having the rank of 'Officer'. Button is greyed out and says I wouldn't have the permission to do so.

Not sure if Turbine only allows ranklevels 1-4 or 1-3 to buy that stuff, but I think the standard officier should have the permission to buy new airship amenities.

I was trying to buy that with my own money and not using the guild's plat/as. I also think every usual member should be able to buy such stuff if he thinks he wants to do so with his own plat/as.

Several characters on Sarlona all starting with "Rand" in the Guild "Guardians of House Cannith". My main four characters are Randowl (18 rogue 2 artificer mechanic - hope to go back to DC casting some day), Randslar (Bard 14 / Fighter 4 / Rogue 2 Swashbuckler), Randek (Druid CC Caster 17/Fvs 3) and Randomall (Rogue 20 assassin).

From what I understand they are permanent. Officers don't have to run around renewing dead amenities like before.

I can imagine a guild leader installing a rare amenity only to have an officer "accidentally" replacing it with something common.

You can't delete anything with the new system. It's not possible.

All guild officers should be able to buy and place amenities as they can do now. Limiting this to only leaders is silly. If you trust someone to be an officer then you trust them to manage amenities. Frankly I in the past have had this duty as an officer and now as the currently leader have assigned this duty to one of my officers.

If the devs wanted to provide more ranks to more customize abilities then sure make ranks like members, knights, officers, Honored officers, and leader.....but really there are no permissions or anything in the current system we see that would warrant any change as the only permission the leader has that an officer doesn't is disband or promote/demote.....this is how it should be.
