Default Dear devs... shadowfell effect on ice in wgu is TERRIBLE

Soloed EH what goes up this evening, got to the boss fight and got to the shadowfell stage of the fight and holy cow epilepsy inducing, super blinding massively over bright shadowfell effect on that ice. With the background as it is I could not tell whether my characters next step was on the ice or not ( I fell several times). Is there anyway to turn this effect back? I kinda like the quest, and its great xp, except for that one part, which grants me a migraine for my troubles. Anyone got any work arounds for this? Or am I to go blind if I wish/need to play this quest?

You can go to options, advanced graphics, and turn off "Video Post Effects" I don't know if that will be a satisfactory change but it's something to try.

for some of us Purple Haze is beyond Crappy... I avoid the Shadowfail quests because of it...
It blinds me for 5 to 10 seconds and after a few instances I end up with a headache.

Yup. I'm okay with it everywhere but WGU, but it's just insanely awful there.

I will give it a try. Its stupid that I have to turn down my graphical options to be able to do one quest.....

Its bad enough everywhere else, but it is absolutely terrible in WGU. I literally could not see where I was going most the time, looked like my character was just floating in a bright blob of purple. Not to mention that level of brightness had my eyes still hurting several seconds after I completed the phase.

Yup, this is my screen with PP turned off. People have been asking for it to be toned down since it released. Turbine don't care. So I don't run it anymore.

And this is only WGU where it's this bad, I can mange for short periods in other quests. The white on purple just wrecks my screen. And if your so inclined to tell me other things to do, I have already called Turbine, got blown off and tried just about every other option under my controls (including drivers, up-to-date and reverted) Nothing worked.

My screen isn't *quite* that bad, but it's about 90% of that, solo, no hires/pets. That phase of the WGU end fight is just awful and there's often a lot of falling through the floor because you can't tell the difference between floor and air.

They like the effect so much that the put it in the shadow raid too.

Remove this effect, rank among the worst ideas ever for graphics.

    Holy ****!

Never knew it could be that bad. And it just What Goes Up?

What's it like in Wheloon Prison?

It's totally true, I have a reliable source. You better reroll now.

Wow, that's terrible. My screen was white - until I turned of post processing, then it became bearable. But, yeah, that quest is long and with the stupid visibility issues plus holes in the floor, it's just miserable.

No idea why their in love with an annoying effect that makes most people turn down their video while giving other people terrible headaches.

Yes, it's only WGU to the extent that I showed. I know I am hard on Turbine for certain things (well many things to be honest) but this IS that bad. Wheloon and the new raids aren't too bad since it's against a dark backdrop but it if my party takes a long time it becomes very eye killing. If it's quick and I can switch back and forth I am ok (like the new raid. I can go back and forth an be ok).

Wow, mines not quite that bad so I guess I better count myself lucky. I can at least see the out lines *KINDA* of the ice and the foes. I can see a level change, but if its just suddenly a hole in the ice I cannot tell if it is so.

Yeah, if I run it with guildies, I have to stand near the "entrance" to the upper part so my blind butt doesn't fall thru any holes (or off the edge).

So yeah, I am little help to the group then :/
