    You may wish to farm up a ML:16 Cannith g.axe or an E-star Cormyrian g.axe. Apart from GS, they're probably your best options until you hit epic lvls.

    You could also check the auction house if you don't want to grind...while I'm not too familiar with heroic weapons these days they did bring back weapons with multiple burst effects on them so you might find something worthwhile. I would think definitely something better than a carnifex at level 16.

    Sometimes I miss Shade/Axer . . . currently there's no one to (wrongly) say:

    I managed to snag an elite Greataxe of the Chained Soldier on my first try in Tor, and I'm happy with that. I don't have much farther to go to hit cap, so I should be good for now.

    P.S. I slotted a Ruby Eye of the Inferno, because I don't need Devotion at this point. Boy, is that sucker underwhelming...
