If when inside the quest and you type /ransack I noticed I had a varying amount of ransack penalty for each optionals from 80% to 20%. I only every complete the quest twice per day so it seems as if the ransack penalties are not resetting properly.

It's all good. Some orange-names appear on every run but some are random.

You can't run the quest twice a day and have -80% on optionals.

yes you can, because the ransack penalty for optionals is broken, and they do not reset properly. you can decide to not run von3 for a week, and when you go back you will still have some optionals at -80%

i hopped on the Von 3 daily train last life and never saw -80% for optionals. i would run it once per day and got full xp and full optional xp.

i do know when you farm the same quest over and over in the same day, optional xp decreases very fast and can take several days to reset. after like 5 runs, depending, optional xp becomes worthless and than you are running the quest just for the xp/min.
    Gary Gygax quotes

The essence of a role-playing game is that it is a group, cooperative experience.

There is no winning or losing, but rather the value is in the experience of imagining yourself as a character in whatever genre you are involved in, whether its a fantasy game, the Wild West, secret agents or whatever else. You get to sort of vicariously experience those things.

Role-playing isn't storytelling. If the dungeon master is directing it, its not a game.

When AI approximates Machine Intelligence, than many online and computer run RPGs will move toward actual RPG activity. Nonetheless, that will not replace the experience of "being there" anymore than seeing a theatrical motion picture can replace the stage play.

The secret we should never let the game masters know is that they don't need any rules.
