First attempt at the character builder, but seems right. Also have all iconic and epic past lives, but if the builder can do it, didn't find it.

Toggles active from past lives: Shadar-Kai, Fast Healing, Brace, Skill Mastery and Energy Criticals.

    Epic Destiny: Draconic
Twists: Endless Faith, Evocation Specialist and Unearthly Reactions ( I switch it to Evocation Augmentation for EE )

Posting equipped gear in next post. Please comment for ideas you think would improve it, keeping in mind a balance between damage and survivability.

Thank you for posting this. I wasn't expecting to see cyran guard and glorious dawn on the list. They aren't bad - I am just a fan of the blue dragonscale set on casting classes except for my PM.

Well, I had the Flawless Blue Dragonscale armor (still do in the bank )and Blue Helm when doing my ETRs, as they were great for lvl 25 gear, however, I was willing to dump that +15 USP from Draconic mind, since I got everything else from other pieces, including the 80 Potency.

Overall, I feel my character has improved by dumping it.

Edit: Glorious Dawn was to replace the EE Death's Locket... as Turbine never updated the " Deathblock " and I would rather have a Deathblock that reduces dmg by 18% than a " old " deathblock.

Plus, even without those past lives you'd still be doing 4.9-7.8k and 9.9-10.8k damage. Unless the damage multiplier is x200 or x300 ?

I would drop glorious dawn for guardian ring. You can slot deathblock in that ring. This also saves you from slotting STR +8. This gets you +8 PRR which is nice.

    Hmmm, could be an idea.

Now, the net result of doing so would: + 8 PRR, + 1 Yellow Slot ( for... ) and the loss of 18% Neg Energy Absop.

Is 8 PRR worth 18% Neg Energy Absorp? What would I put in the new Yellow Slot? Thinking .....

For info: current PRR is 52.

Some people like me can just not support the attitude of game providers to turn a fabulous game into pay to cheat. I am actually not freeloading, since I bought all content besides pay to cheat boxes and tomes. And whenever there is a game I play and pay for, which started without pay to cheat store offers, and then started to offer rudest pay to cheat content, I will not keep my mouth shut to say what I feel. I actually expect a game to remain at the level of pay to cheat where they started with. Finally, I do not play pay to cheat games at all.

Not really, others can be haters or get into an insult mode, but I'm here to play the game, not tell others how they aren't as good for xyz reasons.

I think people on both sides of this thing have valid points, but some of them are so busy trying to passive aggressively insult each other that no one can possibly be reasonable about this. Some less passively than others lol.

To be sure "pay to cheat" is among the more child-like epithets getting slung around here, it proves an immature mindset and childish outlook of taking the game too seriously. As well as a desire to try and make people who spend money feel "shamed" somehow. Which to be honest is not something a well adjusted person who makes enough money to spend some on his or her hobby is likely to to do more than smirk at and roll their eyes when they read it. Indeed the counter to that is that people who can afford the TIME (because money and time are equals if you are paying any attention at all) to do say; 87 lives the "the hard way" might tend to be in a financial position that is a tad bit more demeaning than "pay to cheat" implies. So the whole thing sounds pretty dang ludicrous IMO. Neither side of this has a d*mned leg to stand on frankly.* (especially if you consider the footnote)

By the same token no one who spends money to do something traditionally looked at as an accomplishment Should really start a thread with the title "Ultimate completionist - Me - 87 past life feats" without at least immedately (and preferable in the title itself) acknowledging the "asterisk" that you purchased much or even any of the XP to do that. I can totally see why that would rub some people the wrong way.

Lets face it the perceived value of being the first to do something that takes a lot of play time (or a lot of money spent on the game relative to what most people spend on games) is the main bone of contention.

The obvious thing to do is simply break the accomplishment up into 2 categories, "the hard way" and the way that needs an asterisk.

    * This is to say nothing of the fact that there's about a 99% likelihood that the person who comes on here in a year or two and says "HAHA FIRST REAL ULTIMATE COMPLETIONIST - Me - 87 lives no boxes" will have used XP pots, XP shrines, farming tricks, multi boxing, VIP bonus and any number of other means to circumvent getting that XP truely "the hard way" and will thus deserve an asterisk next to their "accomplishment" as well.

The "real" hard core way would require a F2P account that's never become premium anything else deserves the asterisk (even then we're giving in on daily dice roll XP pots).

    ...all this nonsense again.

Everything eventually comes to economics. The marketers of this game, from the start, dubbed it as a "Wow-killer" as they did with every other game. Of course we know this never happened. AoC couldn't do it...SWTOR couldn't do it.

The game was failing as a sub only game. It was divided into two factions: Here and Europe. Europe had the misfortune of having DDO run by that ghastly CodeMasters. They didn't get updates like we did. We had FTPlay, they didn't.

With the advent of FTPlay in 2009, we saw an influx of players and revenues increased. When Otto's boxes came around, it was certainly a cash cow. The game has to be funded somehow. It's eight years old.

If a person wants to buy boxes and play as they do--there's nothing wrong with that. Do we chastise the player who plays permadeath characters and blame them for clogging up the server ques for toons that are just going to be dead anyway?

If someone wants to buy 50 Otto's boxes from his vacation home in Hawaii, or even from his/her 5 bedroom cabin in the woods--it's his/her business. It is also his/her prerogative to write in the forums if they so desire.

I have a guildie whom spent $1000's of dollars in the game. He bought many boxes and game most of them out to other people as Christmas presents. He used quite a bit of them on himself.

SO based on the logic here he obviously is a deadbeat family man, and an overall bad person.

What about those of us that work. We may have limited time to play. I might just want to see the endgame and advance my character quickly based upon my time constraints and my financial means.

SO...I guess I'm just a piece of S***, and I'm bringing the game down.

I bet the whiners would not at all complain if one of us horrible deadbeats happened to give them a box or two. Maybe they would because the world, it appears, is upside down.

87 lives still rocks. Pay no mind to the complainers. Their rants are tantamount to nothing more than the leper's bell of the oncoming looter...

Consider where you are, it would have to be a massive amount of ignorance to astound your average forum user.

Yes, I bet I could open up a dry cleaning business, and have the sign read "AP's Tailor Shop: Cleaning, Pressing and Altercations"--and the masses out there would just think nothing of it.

I admit that "shocking" posts or broad statements can serve to flare people up like packs of hemorrhoids, but words and ideas can change minds. As much as I try to resist, I do learn things every day.

So you wasted 2k+ $$ to play a video game. You skipped a vacation with your family to stare at a box with images. Turbine thanks you for the money though. But why pay all that money to make a common PvP build? A social life and a full time job would mean you would have to leave your house and spend your vacation with friends and family. You contradict yourself in half of your own posts.

Turn around there is a whole world behind you.
