Ok just started running quests today and coins are not in treasure chests anymore at least on Khyber. Wasn't it supposed to go till the 12th?

Coins stopped dropping yesterday, January 2. I wrote a thread on it, but no one responded in it because I was invisible.

Yes, the coin drop has ended, but the Jester will stick around for a while. Next time around I will endeavor to get the end date publicized more clearly, sorry for those who were surprised by the end of the coin drop. Between the busy holidays and the storm I didn't get the word out enough about this. Thanks!

While we're at it, look forward to seeing Risia and the Midwinter festival. I'll try to get some dates out soon-ish.
Have fun, and don't forget to gather for buffs!

If this https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...Feather-of-Sun is "weekly" my mind can only ponder the vast possibilities that encompass "soon-ish". *chuckle*

That was an unfortunate wording on his part. He meant "a week in the life", not "once a week."

    Lag.

Lag lag lag lag lag lag lag.

That "snow" in Eveningstar makes me want to dig my eyes out of my skull with a claw hammer.

    Also lag. And lag too.

I'm ok with the event if they turn out the blue filter on eveningstar.

Not trying to hijack a thread but the quote is available here... Why don't you guys do this sort of thing with other fests?

I agree, that blueish FX in ES is annoying,
    i forgot about that.

Last year,it was new,so i tried but did not like it,
this year i will ignore that part.

All i want is the jumps in the Harbor and the Risian altar.

id be sweet if you could turn events off. So they didn't even load into your pc.

Turb start working on this!! Mabar is close at hand creeping through the months.

It being a Winter Olympic year, would it be fair to guess they will coincide?

Just imagine once someone figured out how to hack so they could turn events on and off from the client side, at will. Oh yeah, that is going to work out well.

The safest bet is to keep the event control button all on Turbine's side.
