    Post Warforged Arti LR- What do you think of my build?

    Here is my Warforged Arti. What you think of the LR for the new enhancements? He is a first lifer and I don't think I will bother doing epic lvls or quests. He is suppose emulate the hybrid feel of before the update.

    Toughness? Do you plan to melee with your spells and crossbow? I haven't seen the need for it while soloing, but I have a +5 stat tome so, maybe that's what you're making up for. . .?

    You also spend tons and tons of points on the warforged tree. The bump to +100% fortification particularly makes no sense, especially since you say you won't do epic content. You're missing about +40 spellpower and about 200 spellpoints doing that.

    Any particular reason you're shooting yourself in the foot to go old-school with the hit points? Personally, I cheered when the old school died.

    I see absolutely no reason to spend points in Concentration. Artificers should quicken every spell in combat. Quicken = no need for Concentration. At first I thought you did it to make the concentration checks to save the prisoners in Wheelon. But you say you're not doing epic content . . . Which reminds me . . . Why didn't you spend point to reduce the cost of quicken. You have the feat after all?

    Warforged artificers are better at solo and Drow artificers tend to be better in groups. If you're soloing with a warforged, I would lower the int to 16 and spend points on your low stats so that you don't lose because of enfeebling ray, or your charisma got drained, etc. This is personal preference. After all, you won't need all those skill points for concentration anyway.

    Spell critical, spell critical, . . . . What?! You have to have a combination of a crack and meth addiction to HIGH numbers to spend invaluable points to raise your critical chance by 2%. If you were going "all in" to this enhancement tree, it might make sense, but you're not.

    Lightning Bolt? A serious waste of an enhancement point.

    Think about alignment.

    Toughness is no longer the must-have it once was and can be dropped. If you plan to use the Arcano SLAs, I recommend picking up Heighten somewhere. I disagree with Hilltrot and think you should keep Concentration; arties can't afford to burn SPs on Quicken when it's unnecessary and you still need to make Concentration checks with scrolls. [Besides, what else is there to spend your extra skill pts on?]

    If you're going with Arcane Empowerment as you have done, then I can see going with Concentration. However, one skill he didn't have was Spot which is kinda imprtant for a ranged class.

    For someone who runs out of SP a lot, I wonder why you don't take the extra spell points in the build. If you lower the quicken costs to 6 or less, the added SP is more than managable.

    But to each his/her own.

    You also spend tons and tons of points on the warforged tree. The bump to +100% fortification particularly makes no sense, especially since you say you won't do epic content. You're missing about +40 spellpower and about 200 spellpoints doing that.

    I see absolutely no reason to spend points in Concentration. Artificers should quicken every spell in combat. Quicken = no need for Concentration. At first I thought you did it to make the concentration checks to save the prisoners in Wheelon. But you say you're not doing epic content . . . Which reminds me . . . Why didn't you spend point to reduce the cost of quicken. You have the feat after all?

    Warforged artificers are better at solo and Drow artificers tend to be better in groups. If you're soloing with a warforged, I would lower the int to 16 and spend points on your low stats so that you don't lose because of enfeebling ray, or your charisma got drained, etc. This is personal preference. After all, you won't need all those skill points for concentration anyway.

    Spell critical, spell critical, . . . . What?! You have to have a combination of a crack and meth addiction to HIGH numbers to spend invaluable points to raise your critical chance by 2%. If you were going "all in" to this enhancement tree, it might make sense, but you're not.

    Lightning Bolt? A serious waste of an enhancement point.

    Think about alignment.

    I agree, I will be dropping toughness, probably for heighten. What other feats could I take possibly for a WF arti? An I will spend zero In WF tree. So no heal amp, but thats fine. But how do the hit point work, I reset enhancements and hp is pathetic. About how many should I get with +1 con tome and +6 con belt?
