Default Turbine Points - LOTRO (Triple bonus) versus DDO (Double bonus)?

So, what's the deal? LOTRO players can purchase TP's right now with triple bonus, but DDO players will only get double? How is this not streamlined better? We can always just load up their free to play game, go buy the points from them, then come back and use them here through our same Turbine account right? It wouldn't bother me as much if both games didn't send me an e-mail at the same time stating it as obviously as possible. It feels like DDO is trying to work one over on the players or something.

Are turbine points actually transferable between these games? I'm downloading the lotro client now to see, as I was thinking I might get some points this round. Here's hoping I get a bonus bonus!

A quick search has me thinking I'm wasting HD space: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthr...y-Turbine-game

Points can't be transferred between games.

If you have a points code that you haven't used yet, you can use it for either game. However, once applied, those points stay in that specific game.

So, buy a points code through the offline LOTRO store with the triple points, then put it in on your DDO account? Are they transferable that way? They should really differentiate these a lot more. They are not really Turbine points if that is true, they are DDO and LOTRO points, two different currencies. The fact that they now also have a different exchange rate for purchase just adds insult to injury and confusion.

lotro store is exact copy of ddo store.

When u buy points in ddo store, they are added automatically.

There are usually no bonus points at code sales.
