I've seen Monkcher builds around, using Manyshot and 10k Stars, and was pondering putting one together myself.
6 Ranger gives Manyshot (and a bunch of other possibly relevant stuff)
6 Monk gives the 10k Stars
8 FvS gives up to 4th level divine spells, and +4 to hit and damage with longbow
Elf also gives +4 to hit and damage with bow, as well as +10m Point Blank Shot range (and an arcane archer tree you can capstone out despite having only 6 levels of Ranger, though I'm not quite sure how that works now)
With reasonable starting stats (assisted by a couple of +3 tomes) it's possible to hit Overwhelming Crit and Combat Archery both.
With the right feat selections, you have (at least) two tiers of Monk stance, and you could Whirling Steel Strike longswords (with +4/+4 from the Elven weapon enhancement) with two tiers of TWF from the Ranger levels for those times when you need to melee, and Power Attack/Cleave/Great Cleave to use with them due to the Overwhelming Crit prereqs.
On the other hand, I'm just getting back into the swing of DDO after some time away, so I'm probably missing some fairly crucial stuff. Where am I going wrong? Assuming I'm not going wrong (or at least not far enough to make it horrible to play), what would be the best order to take the class levels for smoothest leveling?
