Default Shard of the Red Dragon

Hi has anyone seen the Shard of the Red Dragon drop recently?

I have never seen it drop and I have at least 60+ Epic VoN 6 completions...

Hey man, I pulled one about a month ago. Maybe a little bit longer. It was the first one I had ever seen in 6 years so I know the skepticism.

    Yes.

A friend of mine pulled two in a row recently, although I've only seen a handful of them drop.

Not seeing one drop in 60 or so completions is pretty common.

According to the last loot tables posted by Rodrak before he quit, Shard of the Red Dragon is a 1% droprate. That puts it in the middle of the pack rarity wise. Good luck.

Same here, I think I've never seen one drop. I've seen more Swords of Shadow (and parts to make them epic) than red dragon shards.

I don't know why I'm still collecting red scales.

Red dragon helm is 0.5% (as of the last time tables were posted), or twice as rare as shard of red dragon.

Ur guildie must be very generous. There are some stuff i will never put it up for a roll, no matter which class is in the party and whether i need it or not. That shard is one of them, together with sos shard and a couple more. It was hilarious watching the reaction of gs users when i pulled my sos shard on my wizard. Even though they knew it was bta, they acted as if i owed them the shard. So i deliberately waited till every single loot has been taken, until my shard was left in the chest, then i took it. Watching their pain was extremely satisfying.

I've been looking for one for quite a while too. For those who have seen one...

    1. What is the bind status of red dragon shards? Bta, btc, unbound?

    2. Can it appear in your 20th list? Are the chances any better in this instance than finding one in the chest?

Pulled one 2 nights ago, so they are definitely still out there mate. The helm though, that seems to be somewhere near the verge of becoming urban legend lol, been a looooong time since i seen anyone get that.

    Not accurate.

The old rates (pre-MOTU) were 1% for almost all shards. 0.6% for SOS, 0.4% for Delving Boots, 0.5% for the completed red helm. (One or two of the unimportant shards may also have been not 1% but the red armor shard was among the standard ones).

Then those rates were applied to EE, and reduced to 75% of that for EH and 50% for EN (and scales were made much more common than they used to be).
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
