    From the DDO Facebook page:

    6:50PM Update: Due to a power issue at our datacenter, all services within the datacenter lost power. For unknown reasons, the backup power systems did not properly come online causing all services to lose power and go offline. Once the power issue is resolved, we will begin the process of verifying and restoring our games and websites. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

    9:50PM Update: Power has been restored and we are in the process of verifying all systems and services. Once this is complete we will begin the process of restarting all servers and websites. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

    The datacenter where their servers are located lost power ---> power is back ---> they are running checks and then will restart servers.

    Default Launcher has been stuck on "prerequisites" since early afternoon for me

    Also, the forums have been "read only" until just now.

    They were not available from browser until about 2hr.s ago.

    You seem to have broken "the posting curse".

    We can only hope someone at Turbine or ISP "path" is working on this.

    I couldn't get the web page at all either, but I can get forums now, I got onto wiki and saw a thread about outage. One step at a time I'm guessing. Thanks for sticking to it DDO

    Past prereq stage now. Now stuck at the download page before login :P

    ETA: Failing at patch server. Must be bringing them up one at a time.

    Me, too. Been stuck at installing pre-reqs for at least 4 hours. I tired re-installing the client, but this obviously didn't fix the issue. HELP!

    Don't FIX anything it is NOT your computer, it is DDO and their servers

    Thanks this was really helpful and I am glad I checked the forums - I too though it was my laptop and was thinking of switching machines, etc. Saved me a lot of time! Guess I just wait this out.

    Unhappy Still down

    It's still down but at least now I am able to get to patch downloads. It gets to 33% then says that it has timed out. 11:32 Eastern Standard Time.

    wow I figured it was my computer because I was moving the DDO folder around on my cpu yesterday. I uninstalled then reinstalled the game...wish I knew this earlier haha. Oh well no harm done I suppose.
