I work in the industry, and I agree with Cordovan on this. If they tell us about a maintenance window, it is, in fact, scheduled. Prior notice is not really as much a part of this, unless there is a contract with governing SLAs.

As Cordovan stated, the only way it wouldn't be scheduled is if the servers became unavailable (outage) on their own accord, without Turbine intervention.

Cordovan and team: thank you for all that you do!

My only wish is that you'd CC that info to the Calendar. Updates, Patches, Hotfixes, Events, ... to me, there NO reason that CCing the Calendar for announcements like that isn't part of your SOP. I'd like to be able to take a quick look at the Calendar and see if anything important is up.

Holy ****... *mind blown* There's a calendar on the forums?!?!?! In 7+ years I've never noticed that until I just went looking for it... Oh look,November is blank, and the other months don't fare much better. Guess I wasn't missing much this whole time.

Thanks Jerry and thanks to the team for the Rift fix and the prompt delivery of the Reward Box!

Sorry you have to deal with such asinine threads like this one today.

Really makes you wonder about people.

Great idea Orge but you cannot expect people to read that when they cannot even read the launcher that is right in front of them...

    Default Where's the cake?

I think they should individually text us when the servers are about to go down.

And not some impersonal mass-text, but something nice and customized for each of us. Maybe talking about our characters a little bit or complimenting us on the shiny loot we've recently acquired.

And maybe send flowers too? And cake? (mmm....cake!) And tasty hams? Yes, they should definitely schedule some tasty hams...

But seriously, thanks for the timely updates and fixes! Keep up the good work!

Thank you Cordovan and rest of the Turbine team for quick fix of delivering boxes.

I said it before in another thread, some people can never be pleased, and they will complain no matter what you do for them so don't worry about it and enjoy the completion of update 20

Thanks for getting this fix out as soon as possible Cordovan (and the whole team at Turbine) and that yummy box of bacon included :-)

First, thanks for keeping the game working

Second, did some of Feather's item adjustments go through with this hotfix? I'm specifically curious about how spell focus augments will be stacking with other items. If so, I need to get on that! Thanks

Seriously guys Cords right, get over it, it doesn't matter and you guys are flipping out about it and than you wonder why the devs stop talking to us after a while and legitimate complaints and awesome suggestions get lost in the shuffle
