As for our website, Im sure they are working on an announcement thread now. You'd be amazed how many approvals/sign-offs some of these announcements have to go through before release.
Overall, I'm alright with 3rd party sites getting some info early. A look at the new enhancements or TR system would have gotten my traffic to their website. Things like release dates really should come from an official Turbine site though. It's just silly that key information like that is from a 3rd party site.

Which has 95 replies: 94 people saying "No, the past lives aren't worth it", and Varg saying "thanks for the feed back" is going to be ignored.
There has been a release date that is set in a substance more solid than stone, harder than diamond... It has been set in the media's ear.
Code has been frozen. It's too late to change things and make release.
Oh well, at least they relented on screwing up Heroic TRing.
That's not actually what that thread says, Systern. If you scan down the first page you'll see a lot of people saying that they like the feats, as well as a lot of mixed feedback where people are somewhat satisfied. It's not unanimously positive, but it's certainly not unanimously negative.
Everyone who is not in the true definition of "hardcore" is looked down on as a "casual", unwilling or incapable of understanding the true brilliance of having twelve-year-olds insult you while they are teabagging your virtual corpse. - Christian Ward columnist for The Escapist
