    Default Ran18/Rog1/Fi1 AA with Trapping Skills. Help would be appreciated.

    I was trying to make a dex based Arcane Archer with trapping skills and would like some feedback. I'm mostly wondering what gear i should work towards getting and I'm also wondering if it wouldn't be better to go with a wizard or cleric level instead of a fighter level. I am also unsure of what racial enemies i should pick.

    Any help would be appreciated. I didn't add any tomes since the i don't have any in game, nor do i have much of anything else.

    I'm also wondering if the dragonmark and magical training feats are really worth it, or if i can replace one or both of them with something else like quicken and quick draw. Any help would be appreciated, since this is my first attempt at making a build (if it can be called that).

    The cleric level should probably be replaced with a wizard level so i can take quicken as well.

    Rangers can get Magical Training simply by investing in the AA tree: Energy of the Wild III

    If you own Artificer, you could take 1 level instead of Rogue, getting Magical Training for free.

    Displacement dragonmarks are OK. Particularly if you could fit in Extend Spell.

    Edit:
    * too much Int. drop Jump skill, you have Jump spell.
    * Toughness feat is no longer as important as before.

    I do own Artificer (along with all the other classes and races other than the iconics and drow).

    If i do take the artificer level instead of the rogue, i would be gaining not only magical training for free but rapid reload(does rapid reload even affect bow attack speed?) as well, so i'd have two extra feats, one of which would be a fighter bonus feat.

    That being the case, i could then take a cleric(for the cheaper scroll mastery) or wizard (for an easier time to add an extra meta magic feat and level 1 wizard spells). I would then have to delay taking the imp crit feats since i wouldn't qualify for it at level 9 due to my lower Base attack bonus.

    Either way i'd still have at least one feat extra, so maybe extend and quicken? I'm not sure how i would fit in the last level of the dragonmark (my previous attempt didn't take it due to not having enough ap) except to not take nothing is hidden since that's more for convenience than actual need.

    Edit:
    For the Int, i'd not be able to max both concentration and heal without it being 16 i don't think.
    Toughness is mostly taken for lack of anything better.

    Ah thanks for clearing that up, huh i wonder why i thought it did, meh prolly just my mind playing tricks on me or something.

    In which case i can't think of a reason to take an artificer level over a rogue level, especially if the other class level i take is wizard.

    Still not sure what gear i should be looking for.

    I had a look at the build you linked, it's definitely better than what i came up with, and chances are i'll just end up using that one instead. Main reason why i didn't go for a deeper multi class was that i tend to have trouble knowing when to take which class level. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
