CC is defined as any effect which lowers the damage the target does to the party while increasing the damage the party does to the target, for example: Stunning Fist (+50% damage for party, -100% damage for target).
I'm writing this thread mainly to address the continuous nerfing of powerful weapon effects, such as Life Stealing. Most weapon CC effects have a laughable DC and as such wont proc more than 5% of the time so relying on anything DC based is not a good idea. Effects like Life Stealing have no DC and will work on almost all enemies, thus providing every non-monk melee with a viable CC option. Now turbine wants to take that away too why is there this focus on making monks the primary melee CC class?
