    Surely there's a joke in here, like you haven't actually played for 2 months. Half the random trash from about level 1 to 6 has that suffix. After level 7 or 8 it seems to dry up.

    Oddly, I haven't heard much complaining about those not working on the Delera's skeletons (which were one of the few 'how do I damage' mobs in the game). Ghostbane barely touches them on elite, and 'holy' doesn't seem to drop until the mid-teens content. Either a)no one is running Delera's anymore or b)everyone is a caster now or c)players are actually using that holy flame club. I never bought that "new player attrition is because they are confused and frightened by undead" line. But this actually perplexes me.

    I have allot these missing weapons still and not all the prefixes changed. I still have a random Metaliine repeater etc, but I have not seen a smiter drop since the changes. I've been seeing mostly allot of Acid/Deception and Ghostbane combos for the most part. It would be nice to find a mid level smiter, because I can craft most the missing, but not smiting.

    I probably miss lacerating the most. With the new TR changes coming, I can't ever see my main being under level 15 again ever, so it's not a huge loss, but it's still sad. For high levels, I know I miss convalescence already. If it ends up in yellow augments at some point, I can forgive it being gone from lootgen.

    It's been said before and it's being said again. This loot gen system was put out in an unfinished state. There are so many things that were removed that we are left with a bare bones skeleton of a system with no meat. It's functional, but just barely and it's extremely boring.

    Actually it was broken, several times repeatedly broken even while trying to fix things.

    I guess the new loot tables where an attempt to fix things but I see the same mistakes being made again.

    As on what I miss: just about everything that was removed and then some more.

    Heal Amp for sure - but overall simply the idea of having lots of effects was fun. Add more effects and mix them up rather than remove effects.

    I'm just missing anything with serious dps really. I've finally got to 20 on my monk and it's just pathetic. Far out. This new random loot gen is just awful. I am not interested in going the shortsword route, I really wanted to go handwraps but this is just awful.

    Oh yeah... and for the most part, the random loot gen is very boring. The only thing I'm looking for is red slots combined with a metal.

    1. Convalescent of Sup Parrying and the (useless pre-MOTU) Convalescent of Heal bracers
    2. Obscenity (not so bad now that Cormyrian weapons are less grindy to make)
    3. Mangling
    4. Evocative names in general. "Meteoric" sounds so much better than "Flaming 8" even though they are about the same in effect.
    5. Tomes and mana pots on end rewards.


    Please fix this disaster.


    Edit: Would add Lacerating, but I have pretty much every type of lacerating weapon I could want. Love my +1 Shock Quarterstaff of Lacerating, RR Human, ML 2. Having 3d6 extra damage on a weapon that can cleave at that level is beyond broken.

    One thing I have noticed also, is that the + bonus is uniformly tiered now according to lvl, gone are the low + items with additional effects instead. Now all high lvl items are high + and low lvl are low +. I could be wrong but that is all I have seen.

    Yeah under the old system, the three mutations on most weapons (+ value, prefix, suffix) were less tied to each other than they are now. Used to be able to get things like "+7 Holy Scimitar of Phlebotomizing" which had a +7, a +2 and a +7, now you don't see more than 2 points of variance between them.

    loot is so boring and samey that i don't bother to even read any of the descriptions any more . I just take guild xp.

    I am noticing it as well. At first I didn't hit me that much because my friends and are still kind of new to the game and the game had so many learning curves that we didn't notice what was going on with the change. Now though, it is blatantly obvious with each run. The same loot over and over is getting ridiculous. Before the change, it was interesting to see what would turn up each quest run, but now... you know what you are going to get before you even see it. Personally, this is a major negative for me. The change is counter to everything this game is. With the numerous classes, multiclassing, specing focus, etc... you need numerous types of gear to create different styles and focuses to make repeating content worthy. If this is the development direction they are heading for, well... it makes the game no different than all the other shallow grindfest based games out there. I doubt my friends and I will last very long if this continues. This isn't our first rodeo and we have seen numerous dumbing down of the games over the years. Cancelling will happen, we won't get sucked into their schemes.

    EVERYthing was removed. All we have left is Deadly, Accuracy, Speed, and Ghostbane on weapons, and Axe/hammer/spear block on armour.

    Yes, it's a slight exaggeration, but only slight.

    The way things stand right now, there is no point to even HAVE random loot. Just replace every random loot slot on the table with plat or essences. I'll craft my own.
