...an APL a day keeps pallys away!!!
Remember to spay or neuter your pally!
I mean really, who can play a character whose icon is the proctologist glove? Chicken-wing stance? Oooooh, Lookit at me run at 1/4 speed!! Or, my favorite.... (DING) and a diplo symbol appear above all the mobs and look as all the enemies charge to the hapless cleric.
The crusades was just a way towns and villages got rid of the really stupid and useless people. they said take up your arms and charge out there!! and lo, all the stupid pallys left town... Hooray!!
This is going to differ for each individual person. I can only tell you what I am doing while waiting for U20 and beyond
While I enjoy soloing content and challenging myself I don't spend my whole time alone, I will seek out LFM's or help friends/guildmates run quests they need. For me company helps reduce the feel of grind.
Next I organize guild raid events with emphasis on teaching, most of these are open to the public as well. My goal is not to make every player UBER but to make every player comfortable with the mechanics of the raid so that they are more willing to join other groups.
No matter how you play the game, I've come to find people that play with a semi static group generally have less feeling of 'nothing to do'. The only difference is it becomes more a social activity than a competitive one.
Again this is my style. This might help you, or maybe taking some time off to make sure a game has not become work.
