In an off destiny the xp per minute for epic hard vs. epic elite is going to be even more pronounced. This reincarnation is going to totally end the running of epic elite because the incentive will be so big to run quests on epic hard. If no one plays epic elite I will be quitting DDO most certainly.

To those who say the melee sphere is going to be good for all melee try running grandmaster on any class that does not have monk levels. On a barbarian grandmaster is terrible.
Dreadnaught? It's not ideal, but that doesn't equal suck. Otherwise why the hell would ever make a melee when casters are so much better? Now, if you want to whine about running in the arcane sphere, knock yourself out. All those destinies blow.

My point was that even for a melee they have to level in grandmaster which for most melee is not good so even for melee this will be unfun. You are right though that arcanes have an even more brutal leveling - Magister/Fatesinger/Draconic is just painful.

They don't have to level in grandmaster. You need 6 million xp, you don't need to collect 2 million in each sphere.

If you did, it would be impossible to get the divine PL as there's only 2 destinies. All you need to do is pick the most relevant destiny in a sphere and get 6 million in that. My point was that none of the arcane destinies are even remotely decent for a melee.

Why would you have to run Grandmaster? You can run in any ED in the martial or primal spheres, so you can run every single Martial ETR in LD... You never have to do grandmaster again.

Likewise, for Primal sphere you can run Fury... so there's 18 ETRs that won't be very painful for a melee at all. You can run EEs using either of those EDs, right?

Now Divine will hurt a little. Those 9 ETRs will all be in Unyielding Sentinal... Not a terrible ED for a melee, especially if your alignment is good... The mass heals and all the hit points are nice, but yeah, you'll probably be running in EH during those lives.

I'm not saying the system is perfect or even good... It's not terrible though, not like the Fate point grind where your barbarian had to play 1.5 million in magister or grandmaster. You can at least skip those in this new system.

    No, they don't.

It's 6 million total in a SPHERE... You can do the whole 6 million in LD.

yeah, they got the ER grind in off destinies somewhat manageable. now to work on the fate point grind and the epic hamster wheel of unfun will be tolerable.

Yeah fatesinger is not that good for melee in the arcane sphere. Quite a bit concerned if they hurt epic elite anymore then it is already. It is tough enough to get people interested in epic elite right now. The Sagas gave me some hope because people were a little bit more interested. There is no plan to upgrade the xp epic elite vs. epic hard ratio so hoping for the best. 6 million in a decent destiny for the most part will help ease the pain a bit I hope.

I dunno I was never interested in running Sagas in EE for Commendations.

The way I had figured I could likely gain more Commendations in a shorter amount of time doing EH sagas than doing EE.

Your absolutely right it is the reward that is the problem.

the XP difference between EE and EH is not enough and the difference in CoV is not enough either because, one can get both more XP and more CoV in less time doing more EH quests.

I have nothing against EE but, I only have so much time to play which is the reason I don't do favor during a Herioc TR

I shoot for the quests that give me the most XP in the least amount of time and I skip everything else.

Even if I had unlimited time to Play I really would not be doing EE grind to fuel an Epic TR life because, its inefficient.

I actually think that running EE 100% for a Epic TR life would be slower and take more resources than running EH mostly.

Beyond once for fate points, why would anyone do so. That's the whole point of going to spheres, level to 28 in LD and/or SD and have your pick of past life feats from any from that sphere with the martial sphere karma earned. Personally, I see no problem getting martial or primal sphere karma with my melees using LD and FotW, little getting divine sphere karma using US and even arcane isn't horrible to get with FS (not a bad destiny, just not feasible to really twist much from it unless a bard).

One needn't run in GMoF to get that specific EPLF, hell if that were the case, one of the three divine EPL's wouldn't even be possible to get as there are 3 feats and only 2 divine destinies.

Does Color of the Queen stack with the Shiradi ED?

It might not "stack" but instead add a 2nd 7% chance to proc after it's 30 second cooldown I would ass-ume , otherwise, it would be absolute fail for this EPL to be designed to be worthless for a Shradi.

Yeah I guess "stack" was a poor choice of words. Having another 7% chance of something would be pretty interesting.
